Լոնդոնում տեղի են ունեցել հայ-բրիտանական 6-րդ պաշտպանական ռազմավարական խորհրդակցությունները

Նոյեմբերի 28-ին Լոնդոնում տեղի են ունեցել հայ-բրիտանական 6-րդ պաշտպանական ռազմավարական խորհրդակցությունները։ Հայկական պատվիրակությունը գլխավորել է ՀՀ ՊՆ պաշտպանական քաղաքականության և միջազգային համագործակցության վարչության պետ Լևոն Այվազյանը։
Հայտնում են ՀՀ ՊՆ-ից։
Խորհրդակցություններին ներկա է եղել նաև Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ ու լիազոր դեսպան Վարուժան Ներսեսյանը։
Քննարկվել են տարածաշրջանային և միջազգային անվտանգությանն ու պաշտպանության ոլորտում երկկողմ համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր։
Լևոն Այվազյանը բրիտանացի գործընկերներին ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի շուրջ ստեղծված անվտանգային իրավիճակը և տարածաշրջանային խաղաղությանն ու կայունությանն ուղղված հայկական կողմի քայլերը, այդ թվում՝ «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագիծը։ Ներկայացվել են նաև ՀՀ զինված ուժերում ընթացող լայնածավալ բարեփոխումները։
Կողմերը հանգամանորեն քննարկել են երկկողմ ռազմական համագործակցության ներկայիս ընթացքն ու զարգացման հեռանկարները։
Երկուստեք արձանագրվել են մի շարք նոր ոլորտներում առկա համագործակցային զգալի ներուժը և այն կյանքի կոչելու պատրաստակամությունը, որոնց շուրջ ձեռք են բերվել պայմանավորվածություններ։
Խորհրդակցությունների արդյունքում ՀՀ ՊՆ պաշտպանական քաղաքականության ու միջազգային համագործակցության վարչության պետ Լևոն Այվազյանը և ՄԹ պաշտպանության նախարարության Ռուսաստանի, Արևելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի քաղաքականության հարցերով տնօրեն Դեյվիդ Մորգանը ստորագրել են պաշտպանության ոլորտում հայ-բրիտանական համագործակցության 2023-2024 թթ. ծրագիրը։
Պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել 7-րդ պաշտպանական ռազմավարական խորհրդակցություններն անցկացնել Երևանում։
