Goldman Sachs բանկը 5 մլրդ դոլար կվճարի արժեթղթեր վաճառելիս խախտումների համար

ԱՄՆ-ի խոշորագույն բանկերից մեկը՝ Goldman Sachs-ը, Միացյալ Նահանգների կարգավորող մարմինների հետ համաձայնություն Է ձեռք բերել 5,06 միլիարդ դոլար վճարելու շուրջը՝ որպես փոխհատուցում 2005-ից մինչեւ 2007 թվականն ընկած ժամանակաշրջանում արժեթղթեր վաճառելիս խախտումներ թույլ տալու համար: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է ֆինանսական ինստիտուտի՝ հունվարի 14-ին հրապարակած հայտարարության մեջ:
Մինչդատական համաձայնության պայմաններին համապատասխան՝ բանկը, մասնավորապես, պարտավորվում Է իր սպասարկյալներից ոմանց արտոնություններ տրամադրել հիփոթեքային վարկեր վճարելիս: Սույն փոխհատուցման տրամադրումից հետո ԱՄՆ-ի իշխանությունները կհրաժարվեն հիշյալ խախտումների կապակցությամբ Goldman Sachs-ի նկատմամբ ունեցած՝ իրենց պահանջներից:
ԱՄՆ-ի կարգավորող մարմինները կարծում են, որ Goldman Sachs-ը, ինչպես նաեւ մի շարք այլ խոշոր բանկեր համաշխարհային ֆինանսական ճգնաժամի ժամանակ իջեցրել են արժեթղթերի ռիսկերի գնահատումները, որոնք ի վերջո վաճառվել են Միացյալ Նահանգների Fannie Mae եւ Freddie Mac հիփոթեքային ընկերություններին, որոնք այժմ սերտորեն կապված են կառավարության հետ: Դա հանգեցրել Է այն բանին, որ վերջիններս զգալի կորուստներ են կրել:
ԱՄՆ-ի արդարադատության նախարարությունը մի քանի տարվա ընթացքում ձգտում Է բանկերից հասնել Fannie Mae-ի եւ Freddie Mac-ի կրած կորուստների, ինչպես նաեւ այն միջոցների փոխատուցման, որոնք ճգնաժամի տարիներին ամերիկացի հարկատուները ծախսել են դրանց օժանդակման համար, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
