Վաղ առավոտից բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիներ էին հավաքված Ալավերդու համայնքապետարանի շենքի դիմաց, նրանք վանկարկում էին՝ «Թամազյան»:
Ալավերդու ավագանու «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության անդամները եւ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Արեն Մկրտչյանը ոստիկանների ուղեկցությամբ ավելի վաղ մտել էին շենք եւ համայնքի ղեկավար Արկադի Թամազյանին անվստահություն հայտնելու օրակարգով նիստ հրավիրել: «Ոստիկանությունն ակնհայտ ապօրինություն է իրականացնում՝ խոչընդոտելով առաջին հերթին համայնքապետարանի աշխատակիցների ազատ մուտքը:
Որևէ կարգավորում չկա, որ աշխատակիցները պետք է ինչ-որ ցուցակներով մտնեն շենք, առավել եւս՝ քաղաքացիները: Քաղաքացիներն էլ օրինական թույլտվություն են ստացել այստեղ հավաք անցկացնելու, բայց այս պահին տեսնում ենք, որ հսկայական ոստիկանական ուժեր են կենտրոնացված եւ համայնքապետարանի դիմաց, նաեւ քաղաքի տարբեր հատվածներում: Տարբեր գնահատականներով՝ մինչեւ 1000 հոգի:
Հիմա հերթական անգամ իշխանությունները փորձում են իրենց զոռբայությամբ իշխանությունը խլել»,-լրագրողներին ասաց «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիրմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքելյանը: Ավելի ուշ բերման ենթարկեցին «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության քաղաքական խորհրդի անդամներ Արամ Մանուկյանին, Արթուր Աստոյանին։
