Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունել է Կանադայի նորանշանակ դեսպանին

Դեկտեմբերի 8-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց ՀՀ-ում Կանադայի նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Էնդրյու Թըրներին:
Նորին Սրբությունը շնորհավորեց դեսպանին և հաջողություններ մաղթեց նրան իր առաքելության մեջ` նշելով, որ Հայաստանում Կանադայի դեսպանության հիմնումը կնպաստի երկու երկրների բարեկամական հարաբերությունների առավել սերտացմանն ու արգասավորմանը։
Հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետն ի դեմս դեսպանի իր գնահատանքը հայտնեց Կանադայի իշխանություններին Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման, դատապարտման, ինչպես և մեր երկրին ու ժողովրդին ցուցաբերած զորակցության համար։
Վեհափառ Հայրապետն անդրադարձ կատարեց Հայաստանի առջև ծառացած անվտանգային, Արցախից տեղահանված հայորդիների արդար իրավունքների պաշտպանության, Արցախի հոգևոր-մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանման հիմնախնդիրներին՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ միջազգային հանրության և բարեկամ երկրների գործուն աջակցությամբ մեր ժողովուրդը կկարողանա դուրս գալ ստեղծված ծանր կացությունից։
Նորին Սրբությունը գոհունակությամբ անդրադարձավ նաև Կանադայի իշխանությունների կողմից հայ համայնքի հանդեպ դրսևորվող հոգատար վերաբերմունքին՝ նկատելով, որ Կանադայի հայ համայնքը կարևոր կամուրջ է երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների զորացման համար:
Նորանշանակ դեսպան Էնդրյու Թըրները, խոսելով Հայաստանում իր առաքելության և հայ-կանադական համագործակցության խորացման ու զարգացման հեռանկարների մասին, պատրաստակամություն հայտնեց ամեն ջանք ներդնելու՝ ի նպաստ Հայաստանի առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերների հաղթահարման, բռնի տեղահանված արցախահայության զորակցության և տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հաստատման։
