Երեկ՝ դեկտեմբերի 10-ին, սպանություն է տեղի ունեցել Երևանում: Ժամը 20:05-ի սահմաններում «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ» բժշկական կենտրոնից ՀՀ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժին ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ շտապօգնության բժիշկների հերթապահ խումբը «աջ զստափոսում (որովայն) առկա երկու ծակած, կտրած վերքեր» ախտորոշմամբ իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխել մի քաղաքացու:

Հիվանդանոցում բժիշկները ոստիկաններին հայտնել են, որ վիրավորը գտնվում է ծայրահեղ ծանր վիճակում և ի վիճակի չէ կատարվածի մասին բացատրություն տալու:

Որոշ ժամանակ անց շտապօգնության բժիշկները «աջ նստատեղի կտրած, ծակած վերք» ախտորոշմամբ նշված բժշկական կենտրոն են տեղափոխում ևս մեկ քաղաքացու:

Բժիշկները դարձյալ ոստիկաններին հայտնում են, որ վիրավորը գտնվում է վիրահատարանում և ի վիճակ չէ կատարվածի մասին բացատրություն տալու: 

Ոստիկանները պարզել են, որ նշված անձինք հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխվել Շոպրոնի փողոցից:

Վիրավորներն են Տավուշի մարզի բնակիչ, 26-ամյա Դավիթ Ս.-ն և Երևանի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Գևորգ Մ.-ն:

Հիվանդանոցից որոշ ժամանակ անց ահազանգել են Ոստիկանության Նոր Նորքի բաժին և հայտնել, որ վիրավորներից Դավիթ Ս.-ն գիտակցության չգալով մահացել է:

Ոստիկանները օպերատիվ տվյալներով պարզել են դանակահարողի ինքնությունը:
