Սուպերլիգայի գործադիր տնօրենն ասել է, որ մրցաշարին աջակցում են ավելի շատ ակումբներ, քան թվում է։
«Շատ ակումբներ հայտարարություններ են տարածել, որտեղ մենք տեսնում ենք 70-ամյա մենաշնորհի երկար ձեռքը: Կասկածո՞ւմ ենք, որ ՈւԵՖԱ-ն ճնշում է գործադրում ակումբների վրա։ Ժամանակ տվեք նրանց, և թողեք համոզենք ակումբներին։ Մենք կհամոզենք ակումբներին՝ Եվրոպայի լավագույն ակումբներին։ Ես ձեզ երաշխավորում եմ, որ ժամանակակից ֆուտբոլը սիրահարված չէ մենաշնորհին և ամբողջությամբ նվիրված չէ դրան։
Ես խոսեցի շատ ակումբների հետ (երեկ), բայց մենք չփորձեցինք բանակցել կամ պայմանավորվել որևէ բանի շուրջ: Սկսվում է երկխոսության նոր դարաշրջան։ Այժմ մենք կշփվենք այն ակումբների հետ, որոնք կձևավորեն Սուպերլիգան։ Մենք չենք պահանջի, որ ակումբներն այսօր ասեն՝ ես այստեղ եմ։ Մենք պատեր չենք կառուցելու։ Մենք ուզում ենք միավորվել, ոչ թե պառակտել։
Որոշ ակումբներ, որոնք հայտարարություններ էին հրապարակել Սուպերլիգայից հրաժարվելու մասին, ինձ զանգահարեցին՝ բացատրելու. «Հրապարակավ մենք ասում ենք ոչ, բայց մենք ձեզ հետ ենք»,-ասել է Բերնդ Ռայխարտը COPE-ին:
