Ջոն Քենեդիի եղբորորդին ՝ Ռոբերտ Քենեդի կրտսերը, ով պատրաստվում է պայքարի դուրս գալ ԱՄՆ նախագահ դառնալու համար, հանդես է եկել 2,5 րոպե տևողությամբ տեսաուղերձով:
Նա իր խոսքում մասնավորապես հայտարարել է.
«Այս էթնիկական զտումների արշավի դատարկ դատապարտումները բավարար չեն: Ի տարբերություն 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության, սա շրջելի է: ԱՄՆ կառավարությունը պետք է կազմակերպի և մոբիլիզացնի համաշխարհային հանրությունը՝ քայլեր ձեռնարկելու համար, որպեսզի ապահովելի հայերի անվտանգ վերադարձը Արցախ և պաշտպանի նրանց ինքնորոշման իրավունքը: Սա մի իրավիճակ է, որտեղ խաղաղ պատժամիջոցները կարող են իրականում գործել: ԱՄՆ-ն դեռևս ունի լծակներ այդ տարածաշրջանում, և նա կարող է օգտագործել այդ ուժը՝ մոբիլիզացնելու բոլոր ուժերը: Մենք պետք է ձգտենք նաև վերացնել Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի շրջափակումները: Հայաստանը դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող երկիր է, և նրան անհրաժեշտ է մուտք դեպի նավահանգիստներ և հարակից երկրներ»:
