Երեկ՝ դեկտեմբերի 29-ին, կրակոցներ են հնչել Լոռու մարզում: Ժամը 17:00-ի սահմաններում ՀՀ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության Լոռու մարզային վարչությունում և ոստիկանության Թումանյանի բաժնում օպերատիվ տեղեկություններ են ստացվել, որ Ալավերդի քաղաքում կրակոցներ են հնչել: 

Ինչպես հայտմում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, դեպքի վայր են ժամանել ՀՀ ՆԳՆ Ոստիկանության Լոռու մարզային վարչության պետ Արթուր Զաքարյանը, ոստիկանության Թումանյանի բաժնի պետ Արտակ Գուրջանյանը, և Թումանյանի բաժնի պետի օպերատիվ գծով տեղակալ Ա Նահապետյանը: 

Պարզվել է, որ ստացված օպերատիվ տեղեկությունները հավաստի են: 

Ոստիկանները տաք հետքերով հայտնաբերել են դեպքի վայրը, ապա՝ որոշ հանգամանքներ: 

Ստացված օպերատիվ տվյալներով՝ ժամը 16:30-ի սահմաններում անձնական հարցերի շուրջ առաջացած վիճաբանության նպատակով պարզաբանումներ ստանալու համար Ալավերդի քաղաքի երկաթգծի կայարանի թաղամասում գտնվող և Լոռու մարզի բնակիչ 35-ամյա Զորայր Շահվերդյանին պատկանող ավտոլվացման կետի մոտ Լոռու մարզի բնակիչ 33-ամյա Ալեքսանդր Մելիքյանը իր մոտ գտնվող հրազենով մի քանի անգամ կրակոցներ է արձակել Զ. Շահվերդյանի և նշված վայրում վերջինիս հետ կանգնած անձանց ուղղությամբ: 

Դեպքի վայրում հայտնաբերվել են կրակված պարկուճներ: 

Դեպքի փաստով խուլիգանություն և սպանության փորձի հատկանիշներով Թումանյանի քննչական բաժնում նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ: 

Ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական բաժինը ձեռնարկում են անհրաժեշտ օպերատիվ հետախուզական և քննչական համատեղ գործողություններ՝ դեպքի հանգամանքները ճշտելու, մասնակիցների ինքնությունը պարզելու, նրանց և Զ. Շահվերդյանին ու Ա. Մելիքյանին ու հանցագործության գործիք հանդիսացող հրազենը հայտնաբերելու ուղղությամբ: 

Գ. Շամշյանի տեղեկություններով՝ ոստիկանները հայտնաբերել են նաև ականատես վկաների, ովքեր, կարելի է ասել, հաստատել են ոստիկանության ստացված օպերատիվ տեղեկությունները:
