Մահացել է ամերիկահայ արվեստագետ, հայկական քանդակադրոշմի վարպետ Նորիկ Աստվածատուրովը

2023 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 30-ին երկարատև հիվանդությունից հետո 76 տարեկան հասակում կյանքից հեռացել է ամերիկահայ արվեստագետ, հայկական քանդակադրոշմի վարպետ, հիմնադրամի (NEA) մրցանակակիր Նորիկ Եղիշի Աստվածատուրովը։
Աստվածատուրովը կյանքի վերջին օրերն անց է կացրել իր տանը՝ Հյուսիսային Դակոտա նահանգի Վահպետոն քաղաքում՝ շրջապատված իր սիրող ընտանիքով։
Նրա վերջին խոսքերն էին՝ «Ես չեմ վախենում»: Քանդակադրոշման հայկական դպրոցի ներկայացուցիչ Նորիկ Աստվածատուրովը ծնունդով Բաքվից էր։ Ադրբեջանում հայերի ջարդերի ժամանակ նա ընտանիքի հետ փախել է սկզբում Հայաստան, ապա՝ արտագաղթել ԱՄՆ։ 32 տարի բնակվում էր ԱՄՆ-ում, որտեղ բազմիցս արժանացել էր հեղինակավոր տարբեր մրցանակների։ 2017 թ-ին նրան պարգևատրեց ԱՄՆ Արվեստի ազգային հիմնադրամը՝ ճանաչվելով Ազգային ժառանգության անդամ։
Նշենք, որ Նորիկ Աստվածատուրովն ամերիկաբնակ հայ գրող, բարերար, իրավաբան, «Աննա Աստվածատուրյան» հիմնադրամի նախագահ և «Սեր Արցախ» նախագծի հեղինակ Աննա Աստվածատուրյան Թերքոթի հայրն է։ Նորիկ Աստվածատուրովին ճանաչողները նրան կհիշեն որպես շատ կենսուրախ, կատակասեր, կենացների վարպետ և հայկական խորովածի մեծ սիրահար։ Նա միշտ պահպանում էր աշխարհով մեկ սփռված իր մեծ ընտանիքի հետ կապը և տասնամյակներ շարունակ պահում նրանց հետ հարաբերություններն ու շփումը, որը երաշխիքն էր առ այն, որ իր երեխաներն ու թոռները կապը չեն կորցնի Հայաստանի և Հայաստանում ապրող ընտանիքի անդամների հետ:
«Հայրս կենսախինդ էր՝ սիրում էր կատակել, ծիծաղել, լավ որակի գործիքներ էր սիրում և մեծ ընթրիքներ կազմակերպում: Բայց ամենից առավել նա իր երեխաներին և իր թոռներին էր սիրում, որոնցով ապրում էր և այդքան հպարտանում: Հայրս պարզ, բայց այնքան բարդ մարդ էր, և աշխարհն առանց նրա շատ մշուշոտ կլինի․․․», - գրում է Աննա Աստվածատուրյան Թերքոթը։
