Չեչնիայի ղեկավար Ռամզան Կադիրովն առաջարկել է ԱՄՆ-ին հանել իր հարազատների նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները՝ ուկրաինացի գերիների դիմաց, որոնց ցուցակը նա փոխանցել է նախօրեին Գրոզնի ժամանած ամերիկյան հետախուզության նախկին աշխատակից Սքոթ Ռիթերին, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն։
«Հետաքրքիր առաջարկ կա մեր հյուրի համար, մենք ունենք գերիներ, որոնց վերցրել ենք Դոնեցկում, Լուգանսկում: Ես փոխանցում եմ (ցուցակը - խմբ․) մեր հյուրին <...>, եթե նրանք հանեն պատժամիջոցները մորիցս, իմ աղջիկներից ու անմեղ մարդկանցից, ձիերից, <...> բացի ինձնից։ Եթե մի քիչ էլ իմ նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցներ ավելացնեն, ապա կհանձնենք այդ մարդկանց»,- ասել է Կադիրովը։
Կադիրովն իր առաջարկը հնչեցրել է Գրոզնիում։ Այնտեղ նաև ցույց են տվել գերիների տեսաուղերձը, որոնք խնդրել են վերացնել «անհեթեթ, ոչնչի վրա չազդող պատժամիջոցները» Կադիրովի հարազատների, նրա ձիերի և ինքնաթիռի դեմ։
