Գարդման-Շիրվան-Նախիջևան համահայկական միությունն արձագանքել է ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Ադրբեջանը Կրոնական ազատության դիտարկման ցանկում ընդգրկելու փաստին։

«ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը հայտնել է այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանն ընդգրկվել է Կրոնական ազատության դիտարկման ցանկում։ Այս որոշումը կայացվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ամբողջ տարածքի նկատմամբ ադրբեջանական վերահսկողության հաստատելուց և էթնիկ զտման իրականացումից հետո կրոնական ազատության լուրջ խախտումներ իրականացնելու մեջ ներգրավման կամ դրանք հանդուրժելու հիմքով:

Միջազգային կրոնական ազատության հարցերով ԱՄՆ հանձնաժողովը, որ նախկինում ևս բարձրաձայնել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հայկական մշակութային ժառանգությանը սպառնացող վտանգի մասին, այժմ ևս ահազանգում է, որ Ադրբեջանում կրոնական գործունեության կարգավորումների առնչությամբ լուրջ մտավախություններ կան։

Միջազգային հանրության և իրավարարության բաղադրիչ հանդիսացող Միջազգային կրոնական ազատության հարցերով հանձնաժողովի նման արձանագրումը չափազանց կարևոր քայլ է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայության նկատմամբ իրականացված հանցագործությունների վերհանման և համարժեք գնահատական տրամադրելու առումով։

Գարդման-Շիրվան-Նախիջևան համահայկական միությունը ողջունում է այն ջանքերը, որը Միացյալ Նահանգները գործադրում է մարդու իրավունքների և ազատությունների ապահովման ուղղությամբ։ Մենք բազմիցս ահազանգել ենք կրոնական և էթնիկ խտրականության հիմքով և կատարյալ դաժանությամբ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում այժմ իրականացվող և անցած տասնամյակների ընթացքում պատմական Գարդմանում, Շիրվանում և Նախիջևանում իրականացված համակարգային վանդալիզմի մասին։

Մենք, հանձնառու լինելով ինչպես պատմական Գարդմանի, Շիրվանի, Նախիջևանի, այնպես էլ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բռնագաղթված հայության ոտնահարված իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, կոչ ենք անում ինչպես Միջազգային կրոնական ազատության հարցերով հանձնաժողովին, այնպես էլ միջազգային իրավարար այլ կառույցներին և կազմակերպություններին հետամուտ լինել Ադրբեջանի կողմից ինչպես Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում այժմ իրականացվող, այնպես էլ անցած 35 տարիների ընթացքում հայաթափված Գարդմանում, Շիրվանում և Նախիջևանում իրականացված էթնոցիդի արդարացի ուսումնասիրմանը, դատապարտմանը և համապատասխան պատժի սահմանմանը։

Գարդման-Շիրվան-Նախիջևան համահայկական միությունը լիահույս է, որ ինչպես ԱՄՆ-ի, այնպես էլ այլ միջազգային դերակատարների համակարգված ջանքերի շնորհիվ հնարավոր կլինի չեզոքացնել հայկական քրիստոնեական համաշխարհային արժեք ունեցող մշակութային ժառանգությանը սպառնացող վտանգը, ինչը մեծապես կնպաստի մեր տարածաշրջանի ժողովրդարացման և խաղաղեցման անցնցում գործընթացին»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ։
