Մահացու հրազենային վիրավորումով զինծառայողների մասին տեղեկությունների հրապարակումից անմիջապես հետո Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը նախաձեռնել է քննարկման ընթացակարգ։ Այդ մասին հայտնում են ՄԻՊ գրասենյակից։ 

Արդեն իսկ միջադեպերից մեկով գրություններ են ուղարկվել Պաշտպանության նախարարություն և Գլխավոր դատախազություն: Մյուս դեպքով ևս ձեռնարկվում են անհրաժեշտ գործողություններ:

Պաշտպան Անահիտ Մանասյանն ընդգծում է, որ Զինված ուժերում նման դեպքերն անթույլատրելի են և խիստ մտահոգիչ: Չափազանց կարևոր է իրավասու պետական մարմինների կողմից նման գործերով արդյունավետ քննության իրականացումը, ինչպես նաև համանման դեպքերի կանխարգելմանն ուղղված անհետաձգելի միջոցառումների ձեռնարկումն ու այդ նպատակով ամբողջական և պատշաճ կառուցակարգերի գործարկումը։

Այս հանգամանքը Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի կողմից ընդգծվել է բազմիցս, պետական մարմինների և քաղաքացիական հասարակության ներկայացուցիչների հետ կազմակերպվել են քննարկումներ, ներկայացվել են խնդրի լուծմանն ուղղված առաջարկություններ։

Պաշտպանը հետևողական է լինելու ինչպես վերոնշյալ, այնպես էլ ոլորտում առկա, այդ թվում՝ ԶՈՒ կարգապահությանն առնչվող խնդիրների հասցեավորմանն ու դրանց լուծմանն ուղղված քայլերի իրականացմանը։
