Աշխատանքային այցով Լիտվայի Հանրապետությունում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, Հայաստան-Լիտվա պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբի ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հունվարի 16-ին Լիտվայի հայկական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանը համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների խնդրանքով անդրադարձել է Թուրքիայի ԱԳ նախարար Մեւլութ Չավուշօղլուի այն հայտարարությանը, թե մինչեւ չլուծվի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնահարցը, Հայաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի հարաբերությունները չեն կարգավորվի: «Չավուշօղլուի հայտարարությունը եւս մեկ անգամ ցույց է տալիս, որ Թուրքիան, խախտելով միջազգայնորեն ստանձնած իր պարտավորությունները, շարունակում է նախապայմաններ դնել: Դա անընդունելի է եւ դատապարտելի: Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է ԼՂ հակամարտությանը, կցանկանայի հատուկ ընդգծել, որ Թուրքիան այնտեղ անելիք չունի եւ չի կարող ունենալ: ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման միջնորդները բացառապես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն են»,- նշել Õ § Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի աշխատակազմից, նա ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատվոգրերով է պարգեւատրել Լիտվայի հայկական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ Արամ Հարությունյանին, Կարապետ Բաբայանին, Մարատ Սարգսյանին, Արմեն Հայրապետյանին, Ռենա Սարիբեկյանին եւ Մանվել Գալստյանին` Վիլնյուսում Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումների կազմակերպման գործում ունեցած ամենաակտիվ մասնակցության եւ մեծ ներդրման համար:
