Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները 2024 թվականին մտադիր են ամբողջությամբ իրենց վերահսկողության տակ մտցնել մամուլի դաշտը, ընդ որում այդ նպատակի համար օգտագործելով առաջին հերթին ֆինանսավորման աղբյուրները։

ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ Փաշինյանն իր թիմին հանձնարարել է ռազմավարություն մշակել, թե ինչպես հատկապես անկախ և ընդդիմադիր լրատվամիջոցներին զրկել ֆինանսավորումից, իսկ նման լրատվամիջոցների հետ աշխատող ընկերություններին պարտադրել հանել իրենց գովազդները, ընդ որում որպեսզի այս «հատուկ» գործողությունը հնարավորինս հարթ և անցնցում լինի, փաշինյանական իշխանությունն իրեն հավատարիմ, կամ կեղծ ընդդիմադիր ԶԼՄ-ներով տեղեկություններ է տարածելու իշխանությանը մերձ որևէ լրատվամիջոցի նկատմամբ հետապնդումների, տնտեսական սանկցիաների, կամ տուգանքների մասին։ Այդ կերպ փորձելու են հանրության մեջ տպավորություն ստեղծել, թե անգամ յուրայինների հետ խնդիրներ ունեն, որպեսզի կարողանան դրանից հետո առավել մեծ թափով և առանց սեթևեթանքների հարվածել մամուլի անկախ միջոցներին։

Մի շարք գործընկերների հետ մեր զրույցներում հայտնի դարձավ, որ վերջին շրջանում զգալիորեն կրճատվել է ֆինանսավորումը, ինչպես նաև գովազդներից ստացվող եկամուտները։ Բազմաթիվ ընկերությունների՝ այդ թվում տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների, կապի և հաղորդակցության ոլորտներում պարզապես հանձնարարել են հանել իրենց գովազդները և խզել պայմանագրերը։ Այդ կերպ Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է ընդդիմադիր լրատվամիջոցներին զրկել ֆինասավորումից, նաև խնդիրներ հարուցել։

Չի բացառվում, որ որոշ, հատկապես հայտնի լրատվամիջոցներ կամ լրագրողներ կարողանան պահպանել իրենց ԶԼՄ-ների անկախությունը, սակայն մեծամասամբ առաջիկայում լրագրողների մի մեծ բանակ մնալու է առանց հացի փողի։
