Yerkir.am-ի հարցերին պատասխանել է ՀՅԴ Հայաստանի Գերագույն մարմնի ներկայացուցիչ, ԱԺ «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը։

-Պարո՛ն Սաղաթելյան, ինչպե՞ս կարձագանքեք Փաշինյանի` Գավառում ունեցած այսօրվա հայտարարություններին, որոնք արվեցին ի պատասխան Ալիևի։

- Դա հրապարակային խոստովանություն էր այն մասին, որ ինքը ձախողել է իր «խաղաղության օրակարգը» և երկիրը կանգնեցրել նոր պատերազմի առաջ: Դա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի շուրթերով արձանագրում էր այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանն Արցախով չի բավարարվել, զորքերը ՀՀ տարածքից դուրս չի բերելու, ավելին` նոր տարածքային հավակնություն ունի Հայաստանի նկատմամբ. այն ամենը, ինչի մասին մենք ասում ենք ավելի քան երեք տարի։ Երեք տարի մեր ժողովրդին խաբել են, թե` մեզ պահեք իշխանության` խաղաղություն կբերենք, հիմա էլ ասում են` չի ստացվում, քանի որ Ադրբեջանը խաղաղություն չի ուզում։ Բայց զավեշտն այն է, որ վերջում Նիկոլն ասում է` միևնույն է` գնալու ենք այդ ճանապարհով:

- Ի՞նչ պետք է անել այս իրավիճակում։

- Անվտանգություն և խաղաղություն ունենալու համար պետք է կազմակերպել երկրի համալիր պաշտպանությունը և վարել արդյունավետ արտաքին քաղաքականություն, մի բան, ինչը սրանք բազմաթիվ անգամ ապացուցել են, որ չեն կարող անել: Խնդիրը, որը մինչև հիմա չենք կարողացել լուծել, շարունակում է մնալ նույնը։ Մենք մեր ժողովրդին պետք է հանգամանալից բացատրենք, որ սրանք խաղաղության անվան տակ մեզ տանում են նոր ցեղասպանության և Արցախից հետո երկրորդ հայկական պետականության կորստի։ Եթե այդ վտանգի գիտակցությունը մեր ժողովրդի մեծամասնությանը կարողանանք տեղ հասցնել, կկարողանանք նաև արագորեն լուծել բոլոր հարցերը։
