Պեկինում տեղակայված Betavolt ստարտափի փոխանցմամբ՝ իր ստեղծած միջուկային մարտկոցն աշխարհում առաջինն է, որի շրջանակում իրականացվել է ատոմային էներգիայի մանրացում. 63 միջուկային իզոտոպ տեղադրվել է մետաղադրամից փոքր մոդուլի մեջ:

Մարտկոցն աշխատում է՝ իզոտոպների քայքայման արդյունքում թողարկվող էներգիան վերածելով էլեկտրականության:Betavolt-ի խոսքով՝ առաջին միջուկային մարտկոցը կարող է մատակարարել 100 միկրովտ հզորություն և 3 Վ լարում, մինչդեռ դրա չափսը 15x15x5 խորանարդ միլիմետր է, սակայն մինչև 2025 թվականը նախատեսում է արտադրել 1 վտ հզորությամբ մարտկոց:
