Հայաստանը խաղաղության գործընթացում Ադրբեջանից ակնկալում է թաքնված տարածքային պահանջներ չունենալու երաշխիքներ և պատրաստ է փոխադարձաբար նույն երաշխիքը տալ Ադրբեջանին:
Այս մասին հայտնել է Հայաստանի վարչապես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության նախաձեռնող խմբի նիստի ժամանակ՝ ներկայացնելով, թե ուր է հասել խաղաղության պայմանագրի շուրջ աշխատանքը:
«Աշխատանքը հասել է մի տեղ, որ մենք Ադրբեջանից, Ադրբեջանը մեզնից լրացուցիչ երաշխիքներ ենք ուզում, որ մենք փոխադարձաբար միմյանցից թաքնված տարածքային պահանջներ ու նկրտումներ չունենք:
Դիվանագիտական տեքստերը միշտ տարբեր շրջադարձեր, ենթատեքստեր, տողատակեր են ունենում: Եվ մենք Ադրբեջանի, երևի Ադրբեջանն էլ՝ մեր, առաջարկների տողատակերում տարածքային պահանջների՝ եթե ոչ այսօր, ապա հետագա վտանգներ ենք տեսնում»,-ասել է Փաշինյանը:
Ըստ վարչապետի՝ իրադրությանը կարելի է վերաբերվել տարբեր կերպ, սակայն իրադրությանը պետք է վերաբերվել որպես աշխատանքային գործընթաց, որը պետք է շարունակել կառավարել, մինչև հարցերը պատասխան ստանան:
Վարչապետը համարում է, որ տեսական մակարդակում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղությունը հնարավոր է: Եվ ըստ էության վերջին շրջանի խոսակցությունները գնացել են հենց այդ ուղղությամբ, որ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը միմյանցից տարածքային պահանջներ չունեն և պարտավորվում են փոխադարձաբար ապագայում նույնպես այդպիսի տարածքային պահանջներ չներկայացնել: Սա այն ըմբռնումն է, որ այս ընթացքում ձեռք է բերվել:
«Մենք Ադրբեջանից ակնկալում ենք երաշխիքներ, որ Ադրբեջանը Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունից թաքնված, տողատակերում չի ուզում ապագա տարածքային պահանջների համար կռվաններ թողնել: Մենք ուզում ենք այդպիսի երաշխիքներ, բայց նաև պատրաստ ենք տալ այդպիսի երաշխիքներ: Սա փոխկապակցված գործողություն է»,-ասել Փաշինյանը՝ հավելելով, որ սա ոչ հայկական կողմից, ոչ ադրբեջանական կողմից այն չի կարող լինել միակողմանի:
