Стали известны планы Италии по Украине во время председательства в G7

Италия планирует во время предстоящего председательства в G7 («Большой семерке») изменить представления о том, что страны Запада устали от поддержки Киева и что Россия побеждает в конфликте на Украине. Об этом пишет Reuters со ссылкой на источники.
По данным собеседника агентства, ключевыми приоритетами Рима во время председательства помимо поддержки Украины станут события на Ближнем Востоке, продовольственная безопасность, изменение климата, искусственный интеллект и отношения с Китаем.
Несмотря на политические разногласия по поводу поддержки Украины в Вашингтоне и Брюсселе, лидеры G7 полны решимости продемонстрировать, что они «полностью привержены Киеву и не могут рисковать, проявляя признаки слабости» спустя два года боевых действий, уточнил источник.
«Мы должны изменить нарратив в отношении Украины», — заявил источник.
Италия будет председательствовать в «Большой семерке» в течение 2024 года, а также проведет саммит стран-участниц в июне.
До этого министр иностранных дел Италии Антонио Таяни во время встречи с Владимиром Зеленским заявил, что Рим продолжит уделять максимальное внимание Украине во время председательства страны в «Большой семерке» (G7).
