Չինաստանն ուշադրություն է դարձնում Հայաստանի կառավարության ներկայացրած «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծին և պատրաստ է աջակցել ցանկացած նախաձեռնության, որը կնպաստի տարածաշրջանի խաղաղությանն ու զարգացմանը։

Այս մասին հայտարարել է Հայաստանում Չինաստանի դեսպանությունը՝ անդրադառնալով «Արմենպրես»-ի հարցին, թե ինչպե՞ս է Չինաստանը վերաբերվում Հայաստանի կառավարության առաջարկած «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծին։

«Մենք ուշադրություն ենք դարձնում Հայաստանի կողմից առաջարկված «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծին և պատրաստ ենք աջակցել ցանկացած նախաձեռնության, որը կնպաստի խաղաղությանը և զարգացմանը տարածաշրջանում։ Պատրաստ ենք աջակցել երկրներին փոխկապակցվածության ամրապնդման, փոխշահավետ համագործակցության ընդլայնման և ընդհանուր զարգացման հասնելու գործում»,- նշել են դեսպանությունից։

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կառավարությունը ներկայացրել է «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագիծը, որի նպատակն է կապել Պարսից ծոցը, Օմանի ծոցը, Սև, Կասպից և Միջերկրական ծովերը տարածաշրջանային միասնական երկաթուղային ցանցով և Հյուսիս-Հարավ և Արևելք-Արևմուտք ճանապարհներով:

Ըստ այդ նախագծի՝ Հայաստանը նպատակ ունի զարգացնելու Հայաստանի, Թուրքիայի, Ադրբեջանի, Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության միջև կոմունիկացիաները՝ ճանապարհներ, երկաթուղիներ, խողովակաշարեր, մալուխներ, էլեկտրահաղորդման գծեր նորոգելու, կառուցելու, գործարկելու միջոցով:

Հայաստանի կառավարությունը պատրաստ է Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի միջև հաղորդակցություն ապահովել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքում 4 երկաթուղային հատվածների վերականգնման միջոցով։ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է նաև վերականգնել երկաթգծի ավերված հատվածները Գյումրիից մինչև Թուրքիայի սահման և Հրազդանից մինչև Կայան երկաթուղու քանդված հատվածները, որը նոր կապեր կստեղծի տարածաշրջանի բոլոր երկրների միջև։
