Եղեգիսում հայտնաբերվել է ավելի քան 5000 տարվա վաղեմության գործիքներ և կենդանիների մնացորդներ պարունակող ապաստարան

Հետազոտողները մարդկանց համար նախատեսված ապաստարան են հայտնաբերել Հայաստանում, որում բազմաթիվ գտածոներ են եղել։

Հնագույն կացարանը հայտնաբերվել է Վայոց ձորի մարզում՝ Եղեգիսի հովտում գտնվող ժայռային ապաստարանի հնագիտական պեղումների ժամանակ։ Համաձայն Antiquity ամսագրում հրապարակված հետազոտության՝ 2020 թվականին հայտնաբերված ապաստարանը փլուզված տանիք է ունեցել և պատի նման կառույց։

2022 թվականին ապաստարանի մուտքի մոտ 6 ոտնաչափ խորությամբ խրամատանման փոս է փորվել, որում մարդկային գործունեության հետքեր պարունակող հնագիտական մի քանի շերտ է բացվել։

Տեղանքում հայտնաբերվել է մոտ 8000 կենդանու ոսկորների մնացորդներ, որոնց մեծ մասը այծերի ու ոչխարների, իսկ մյուսները՝ խոզերի, եղնիկների, խոշոր եղջերավոր անասունների և արջերի:

Հայտնաբերված մնացորդները ենթարկվել են ռադիոածխածնային թվագրման, որոնցից ամենահինը թվագրվում է ավելի քան 5300 տարի առաջ: Գտնվել են նաև մոտ 2000 այլ գտածոներ, այդ թվում պղնձի կտորներ, օբսիդիանի շեղբեր, ուլունքներ և խեցեղեն:

Ըստ հետազոտողների՝ «Եղեգիսի ապաստարանի ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում գրանցված նախնական արդյունքներն ընդգծում են տեղանքի ներուժը՝ կարևոր պատկերացումներ տալու այդ դարաշրջանի մարդկանց ապրելակերպի մասին»:

Տեղանքի հետագա ուսումնասիրության համար լրացուցիչ պեղումներ են նախատեսվում՝ տարածաշրջանում հնագույն շրջանի մարդկանց գործունեության վրա լույս սփռելու նպատակով:
