Դաստիարակեք անպարտելի հոգի և անհաղթ կամք․ ահա այս պատգամով էր ավարտել «Կարին» ավանդական երգի-պարի համույթի ղեկավար, արցախյան պատերազմների մասնակից Գագիկ Գինոսյանն իր գրառումը Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանի այցելուների տպավորությունների մատյանում, թանգարանի բացումից կարճ ժամանակ անց՝ 1996 թ. մարտի 6-ին: Նա իր գործունեությամբ հենց այդպիսի որակներ ունեցող սերունդ էր դաստիարակում:
Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտը ներկայացրել է Գագիկ Գինոսյանի գրառումն ամբողջությամբ.
Հարգարժան Լավրենտի Բարսեղյան, նախ գլուխ եմ խոնարհում տարված աշխատանքի ծավալների և խորության համար, ինչպես նաև ճարտարապետական յուրօրինակ տեսքի և ներքին կառուցվածքի գեղեցկության համար: Բայց ուզում եմ նաև իմ տեսակետը հայտնել թանգարանի գաղափարական ուղղվածության վերաբերյալ: Մեր պատմությունը պետք է տարածենք (առաջին հերթին մեր ազգի մեջ) ոչ միայն իմանալու, այլև առաջին հերթին դասեր քաղելու և ապագայի մեջ կողմնորոշվելու համար: 1915 թ. ցեղասպանությունը առաջին հերթին մեր ազգի խայտառակությունն է և նոր ողբերգությունը, և միակողմանի ներկայացնել պատմությունը չի կարելի: Այստեղ բերված են Չերչիլի քննադատական խոսքերը ուղղված թուրքական կառավարությանը, բայց Չերչիլին են պատկանում նաև այն միտքը թե «երևի առհավետ կջնջվի աշխարհի քարտեզից Հայաստան անունը»: Երևի թե թանգարանի հիմնական նպատակն չէ նոր սերունդներին սովորեցնել լացել ողբերգությունների համար, կուրծք ծեծել և աշխարհից խնդրել ճանաչել մեր ողբերգությունը: «Ուժն է ծնում իրավունք» և ի վերջո «Մուրացիկներին և անգյալներին անգյալանոց են տալիս և ոչ անկախ հայրենիք», իսկ մենք սովորել էինք մուրալ մեր անկախությունը:
Իմ խնդրանքը Ձեզ և թանգարանի անձնակազմին՝ պատմությունը միմիայն թվերի ու փաստերի չոր արձանագրություն չէ, այլ ապագա պատմությունը կերտելու դաստիարակ: Կուզենայի գրել իմ աֆորիզմներից մեկը. «Ամեն սերունդ ազգի պատմագրքին մի նոր էջ է ավելացնում, բայց կարևորն այն է թե հետո ազգը այդ էջը կուզենա մոռացության մատնել, կամ ոչնչացնել, թե մեր պատմագրքի տիտղոսաթերթ կդարձնի»:
Թող ձեր թանգարանը ոչ միայն փնովի թուրք իշխանություններին, այլ նաև ասի, որ մենք ենք մեղավոր և հետո նոր մյուսները: «Հարձակվում է նա, ով իր դեմ թուլություն է տեսնում»: «Հաղթում է ուժեղը, և ոչ թե արդարը: Վա՜յ թույլերին»: «Այն ազգը, որը իրեն անհրաժեշտ ուժը իրենից դուրս է փնտրում, կուրորեն իր կործանումն է նախապատրաստում»:
Խնդրում եմ Ձեզ, որ Ձեր թանգարանը սովորեցնի մեր նոր սերունդներին լինել ուժեղ, հաղթող և առաջին հերթին իր վրա դնի հույսը և նոր սկսի փնտրել բարեկամներ: Ուժեղների հետ են բարեկամանում, իսկ թույլերին կամ հովանավոր են լինում, կամ որ ավելի հաճախ է լինում տիրություն են անում այնպես, ինչպես ստրուկներին են տիրություն անում:
