Ալիսա Մանուկյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Որքան ընտրական պրոցեսները մոտենում են, այնքան 2017-ի հավակնորդներն ակտիվանում են, ըստ այդմ՝ բառապաշարը բազանեցվում ու կոշտացվում:
Ընդդիմության դաշտը զբաղեցնելու հայտ ներկայացնողները քիչ չեն, սակայն առավել ակտիվ է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, ով սակայն ավելի շատ խոսում է մյուսների՝ կարևոր չէ իշխանություն, թե ընդդիմություն, որքան իր անելիքների մասին:

Անելիքների հետ կապված Նիկոլը վերջերս ներկայացրել էր իր կուսակցության գերակայությունների մասին, որից առաջինը երկրում ռազմաարդյունաբերության զարգացումն է: Ճիշտ է, այն առավելապես ֆեյսբուքյան գրառմամբ արտահայտվեց ու պարզ չէր, թե ինչպես, ինչ միջոցների ու տեխնոլոգիաներով է զարգացվելու, սակայն Նիկոլի համախոհների կողմից այն որպես «փրկության ծրագիր» ներկայացվեց:

Վերջին ժամանակներս Նիկոլը բավականին բռնկուն է դարձել: Կար ժամանակ, երբ Նիկոլը նոր էր ձեռնամուխ եղել կուսակցություն ստեղծելուն, փոքրի ինչ ծանրակշիռ դրսևորելու քայլեր էր կատարում, սակայն այսօր նա գտնվում է այն ամպլուայում, ինչպես լրագրող տարիներին՝ բռնկուն, անհավասարակշիռ, անձնավորված: 
Նիկոլը դեռ հաջողություն չգրանցած արդեն մատնանշում է այն ուժերին, ովքեր խանգարում են իրեն, նույնիսկ տղայական կռիվների հրավիրում, ինտրիգներ «բացահայտում». կարծես աշխարհն իր շուրջ է պտտվում:

Այսօրվա Նիկոլը շատ քիչ է տարբերվում ուսանողական տարիների Նիկոլից, ինչը փակում է նրա՝ դեպի լուրջ քաղաքականություն տանող ճանապարհը:
