ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հաղորդագրություն տարածեց այն մասին, որ այսօր՝ 05.30-ից սկսած Ադրբեջանի ԶՈՒ ստորաբաժանումները կրակ են բացել Սյունիքի մարզի Ներքին Հանդ բնակավայրի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ։ Հայկական կողմն ունի չորս զոհ և մի քանի վիրավոր։
«Հրապարակին», սակայն, դեռևս փետրվարի 12-ի օրվա առաջին կեսին տեղեկություններ էին հասել այն մասին, որ Սարուշեն բնակավայրի ուղղությամբ տեղակայված հայկական դիրքերից մեկում ամրաշինական աշխատանքներ են կատարվել, և ադրբեջանական կողմը կրակ է բացել՝ աշխատանք կատարող հայ դիրքապահների ուղղությամբ։
Այդ պահին այնտեղ մարտական հերթապահություն իրականացնող ԵԿՄ անդամներից մեկը պատասխան կրակ է արձակել, ինչի հետևանքով ադրբեջանցի զինծառայող է վիրավորվել։ Հայ զինծառայողը փորձել է պատասխան կրակով լռեցնել թշնամուն՝ աշխատանք կատարող մարտական ընկերներին պաշտպանելու համար։
ՀՀ ռազմական ոստիկանությունը շտապեց հաղորդագրություն տարածել․«Ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների տարածած տեղեկատվությունը Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան պետական սահմանի Կապան-Զանգելան հատվածում ս/թ փետրվարի 12-ին հայաստանցի դիրքապահների կողմից կրակ բացելու մասին հետաքննվում է»։
Մեզ հասած տեղեկություններով, շատ օպերատիվ կերպով, միջադեպից կարճ ժամանակ անց ռազմական ոստիկանությունը շտապել է բարձրանալ դիրք՝ ձերբակալելու պատասխան կրակ արձակած հայ կամավորականին։ Ռազմական ոստիկաններին, սակայն, դիրք բարձրանալ չի հաջողվել։
ՊՆ-ն բավարարվել է միայն ադրբեջանական կողմի սուտ տեղեկատվությունը հերքելով, չնշելով, որ առաջինը հենց ադրբեջանական կողմն է կրակ բացել հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ։
