Ամերիկյան Joby Aviation ընկերությունը հայտարարել է, որ հաջորդ տարվանից Դուբայում կգործարկի թռչող տաքսիներ, գրում է Daily Mail-ը:
Ընկերության՝ պրոպելերներով համալրված տաքսիները նախատեսված են օդաչուի և առավելագույն չորս ուղևորի տեղափոխման համար: Դրանք կարող են առավելագույնը 320 կմ/ժ արագություն զարգացնել: Նման արագությամբ թռիչքը Դուբայի օդանավակայանից դեպի Պալմ Ջումեյրա՝ քաղաքի արհեստական կղզիների արշիպելագը, տևում է ընդամենը 10 րոպե, մինչդեռ մեքենայով գնալու պայագայում այն տևում է 45 րոպե, ըստ Joby-ի:
Ընկերությունը պայմանագիր է կնքել Դուբայի Ճանապարհային և տրանսպորտային վարչության հետ՝ այնտեղ օդային տաքսի ծառայություններ գործարկելու մասին:
«Մենք անհամբեր սպասում ենք Դուբայի բնակիչների և հյուրերի համար անհավանական փորձառություն մատուցելուն արդեն 2025 թվականին, և մենք ոգևորված ենք, որ հիմք ենք ստեղծում ողջ ԱՄԷ-ում մեր ծառայության ընդլայնման համար»,- ասված է ընկերության հայտարարությունում:
