Ես չեմ ուզում պատկերացնել, քանի որ մեր իշխանությունն ուղղակի ի վիճակի չէր այսպիսի բաներ անելու: Այս մասին այսօր դատարանի դիմաց լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը՝ անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե ինչ կլիներ իրենց իշխանության հետ, եթե ժամանակին այս իշխանության քայլերն աներ:
«Մենք այսպիսի բաներ չենք արել, բայց մարդիկ դուրս են եկել և պահանջել մեր հրաժարականը, մենք ենթարկվել ենք»,-հավելեց նա։
«Իհարկե, կմեղադրեն մեզ թալանի մեջ, ուրիշ ի՞նչ ասեն: Իշխանափոխության ընթացքում շատ տեղեր են օգտագործվել այդ հնարքները եւ դա մենակ իրենք չեն արել, արել են իրենց օժանդակողները»,-ընդգծեց Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
Անդրադառնալով Էկոնոմիկայի նախկին նախարար Վահան Քերոբյանին տնային կալանք նշանակելուն՝ Սարգսյանը նշեց, որ եթե նա նախկին իշխանություններից լիներ, ապա բոլոր միջոցները կձեռնարկեին, որպեսզի հանրությանը ցույց տային, թե տեսեք՝ ինչքան վտանգավոր մարդ է, որ տնային կալանքը նրա համար քիչ է. «Ես չգիտեմ, չեմ էլ ուզում իմանալ, թե ինչի համար են անում, ուղղակի, ես կարծում եմ՝ այդ մարդիկ են մեղավոր, որոնք համաձայնել են աշխատել այդպիսի կառավարության կազմում»։
