Армения отказалась от участия в «Играх Будущего»

Армения не примет участия в международном турнире «Игры Будущего — 2024». Об этом сообщил начальник отдела молодежного спорта министерства образования, науки, культуры и спорта Армении Артур Седракян.
По его словам, страна получила приглашение на игры, однако зарегистрированные профильные компании не смогли выделить участников для выступления. При этом чиновник не исключил, что Армения приедет на следующие соревнования.
Фиджитал-турнир «Игры Будущего» пройдет в Казани с 21 февраля по 3 марта. Спортивная программа «Игр будущего» включает соревнования в 21 инновационной дисциплине, которые будут проводиться на десяти спортивных объектах в Казани и Сочи. Так, в столице зимних Олимпийских игр 2014 года пройдет турнир G-Drive фиджитал-гонки, где спортсмены должны показать лучшее время как на виртуальном треке, так и на реальной гоночной трассе. Победу одержит команда, которая быстрее всех завершит гоночную эстафету.
«Игры Будущего» соберут около 2 тыс. спортсменов. 277 команд из 107 стран уже подтвердили свое участие. По прогнозам организаторов количество просмотров трансляций игр на стриминговых площадках превысит 3 млрд.
