Գիտնականները կարողացել են ուղեծրով պտտվող արբանյակից Երկիր փոխանցել էներգիա

Կալիֆորնիայի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի (Caltech) գիտնականները, այլ կազմակերպությունների հետ համագործակցությամբ, հաջող փորձ են անցկացրել՝ էներգիա հավաքելու և Երկիր պտտվող արբանյակից Երկիր փոխանցելու համար:
Այս մասին հայտնում է Extremetech լրատվական պորտալը։ Դա հնարավոր է դարձել՝ օգտագործելով Microwave Array for Power-transfer Low-Obit Experiment (MAPLE), որը արեգակնային էներգիան փոխակերպում է ռադիոհաճախականության էներգիայի և այն փոխանցում Երկիր:
Գիտնականները նշում են, որ ուղեծրում արևային մարտկոցների օգտագործումը կարող է ավելի արդյունավետ լինել, քան Երկրի վրա, քանի որ դրանք կարող են շարունակաբար էներգիա արտադրել՝ անկախ եղանակային պայմաններից և օրվա ժամից: Սակայն ուղեծրից Երկիր էներգիա փոխանցելու խնդիրը առկա է։
Ներկայումս MAPLE-ը տիեզերքում միաժամանակ ընդունում է 175-ից 251 մՎտ էներգիա, ընդ որում՝ միայն 1 մՎտ էներգիան հասնում է վերգետնյա կայան: Գիտնականները ծրագրում են ստեղծել SPPD-1 նման արբանյակների համաստեղություն, որը կկարողանա էներգիա փոխանցել Երկիր՝ 10 հազար տնային տնտեսությունների մատակարարման համար։
