Կայացել է «Կենսոլորտային տարածքները` որպես կլիմայի փոփոխության մեղմման և հարմարվողականության մոդելային տարածաշրջաններ Հայաստանում «Դիլիջան կենսոլորտային տարածք»-ի ստեղծման կարողությունների զարգացում» ծրագրի մեկնարկային աշխատաժողովը:

Աշխատաժողովի շրջանակներում ներկայացվել են Հայաստանում կենսոլորտային տարածքի զարգացման հնարավորությունների ուսումնասիրության արդյունքները, Հայաստանում կենսոլորտային տարածքի հայեցակարգի զարգացման պատմությունը, ինչպես նաև՝ Ծրագրով նախատեսված գործողությունները և ժամանակացույցի:

Աշխատաժողովի մեկնարկին ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես է եկել Շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարի տեղակալ Արամ Մեյմարյանն, ով իր խոսքում անդրադարձել է կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության և կայուն կառավարման ուղղությամբ մեր պետության կողմից վարվող քաղաքականությանը և բնության հատուկ պահպանվող տարածքների ու արժեքավոր էկոհամակարգերի կայուն կառավարման մոդելների ստեղծմանն ու զարգացմանը.

«Ինչպես գիտեք, Հայաստանը Կովկասյան տարածաշրջանում համարվում է աշխարհում կենսաբազմազանության թեժ կետերից մեկը, այստեղ ամեն 1 կմ քառակուսու վրա հանդիպում է բարձրակարգ բույսերի 107 տեսակ: Եվ ես ուրախ եմ, որ այսօր մեկնարկում ենք մի գործընթաց, որըոլորտում մեր վարած քաղաքականության մի մասն է կազմում։ Այս համատեքստում էապես կարևոր ռազմավարական ուղղություն ենք դիտարկում համայնքների և տեղական բնակիչների հետ համահունչ ու ներդաշնակ զարգացող պահպանվող տարածքների կառավարման մոդելներ ունենալը։ Առանցքային նշանակություն ունի այն հանգամանքը, որ հատկապես համայնքները և բնակիչները, որպես այդ տարածքների առաջնահերթ շահառու գիտակցեն և արժեվորեն այն բնական կապիտալը, որն առկա է իրենց կողքին և որոնց էկոլոգիական արժեքից կարող են հսկայական եկամուտներ և շահույթ գեներացնել»,-նշել է նախարարի տեղակալը:

Ծրագրի ընթացքում նախատեսվում է իրականացնել տեղական և ազգային մակարդակներում ստեղծված աշխատանքային խմբերի պարբերական հանդիպումներ, հանդիպումների ընթացքում բացահայտված հատուկ թեմաների վերաբերյալ դասընթացներ, աշխատաժողովներ, հետազոտական անհրաժեշտ աշխատանքներ, թեմայի վերաբերյալ իրավական դաշտի ուսումնասիրություն և վերլուծություն, այց եվրոպական որևէ կենսոլորտային տարածք՝ առավել մանրակրկիտ ծանոթանալու համար արդեն իսկ գործող կենսոլորտային տարածքի առանձնահատկություններին։

Ծրագիրը ֆինանսավորվում է Գերմանիայի Շրջակա Միջավայրի Դաշնային Նախարարության «Կենտրոնական և Արևելյան Եվրոպայի, Կովկասի, Կենտրոնական Ասիայի և Եվրոպական միությանը հարևան այլ երկրներին բնապահպանական խորհրդատվական աջակցության ծրագրի» շրջանակներում։ Այն ղեկավարվում է Բնապահպանության Դաշնային Գործակալության և Գերմանիայի Շրջակա Միջավայրի Գործակալության կողմից։

Ծրագիրն իրականացվում է ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարության աջակցությամբ՝ «Միխայել Զուքով» հիմնադրամի և «ՍՈԼՅՈՒՏՈՆ» ՍՊ ընկերության կողմից:
