«Պետական սահմանի պահպանությունը ՀՀ ԱԱԾ-ի գործունեության հիմնական ուղղություններից է:
2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերից ՀՀ ԱԱԾ սահմանապահ զորքերը ՀՀ ՊՆ ստորաբաժանումներից փուլային տարբերակով պահպանության են ընդունել հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի որոշ հատվածներ: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունից:
Նոր ձևավորված տեղամասի պահպանությունն առավել արդյունավետ կազմակերպելու և իրականացնելու համար ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից հատկացված միջոցներով շատ կարճ ժամանակահատվածում կառուցվել են ժամանակակից պահանջներին համապատասխան սահմանային ուղեկալներ:
ՀՀ ԱԱԾ տնօրեն, գեներալ-մայոր Արմեն Աբազյանն այցելել է ՀՀ սահմանապահ զորքերի N ջոկատ և մասնակցել սահմանապահ ջոկատի նորակառույց 5 ուղեկալների և դրանց կից սպայական կացարանների շահագործման հանձնելու բացման արարողությանը:
Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին նաև ՀՀ ԱԱԾ տնօրենի տեղակալները, պաշտոնատար այլ անձինք:
Արմեն Աբազյանն իր ողջույնի խոսքում նշել է, որ տարածաշրջանային գործընթացները ցույց են տալիս, որ փաստացի ավելացել է պետական սահմանի ձգվածությունը: Եթե դրան ավելացնենք նաև սահմանային ռիսկերի ողջ սպեկտորը՝ նարկոթրաֆիկից մինչև ահաբեկիչների տեղափոխում, անօրինական միգրացիայից մինչև մաքսանենգություն, ապա սահմանապահ զորքերի վերազինումն ու արդիականացումը ժամանակի հրամայական է:
Սյունիք, Ճակատեն, Եղվարդ, Կաղնուտ, Դավիթ Բեկ սահմանապահ ուղեկալներն ամբողջությամբ ապահովված են ժամանակակից տեխնիկայով, սպառազինությամբ և այլ անհրաժեշտ պարագաներով:
Սահմանապահ զորքերի ստորաբաժանումները շարունակաբար համալրվում են տարբեր նշանակության տեխնիկական միջոցներով, կահավորվել է 18 սահմանապահ կետ, կառուցվել են խրամատներ, կրակակետեր և դիտման կետեր»:
