ԵԱՏՄ երկրները դեռ պատրաստ չեն միասնական արժույթի տարածք ստեղծելուն։
Այս մասին Սանկտ-Պետերբուրգի պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանի ուսանողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարել է ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ, Եվրասիական տնտեսական կոլեգիայի նախկին ղեկավար, Եվրասիական զարգացման բանկի վարչության փոխնախագահ, Թվային նախաձեռնությունների հիմնադրամի համակարգող Տիգրան Սարգսյանը։
Ըստ նրա`այդ հարցն ակտիվ քննարկվում է և օրակարգում է արդեն տասը տարի` ԵԱՏՄ-ի ձևավորման պահից։ Նա մեջբերել է ԵՄ-ի օրինակը, որը միասնական արժույթի տարածք է ստեղծել և մտցրել եվրոն։
«Սակայն ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակում միասնական արժույթ ներդնելուց դեռ հեռու ենք։ Անհրաժեշտ է համաժամանակեցնել հինգ երկրների օրենսդրությունները, հատկապես բանկային կարգավորման ոլորտում։ Դա երկարատև և մանրակրկիտ աշխատանք է պահանջում, որը դեռ պետք է արվի», – նշել է Սարգսյանը։
Նա ընդգծել է, որ այսօրվա դրությամբ առաջնահերթ խնդիրներից է միասնական վճարային տարածքի ստեղծումը։
Սարգսյանն ավելացրել է, որ նման համակարգ պետք է մշակվի Իրանի, Եգիպտոսի, Վիետնամի, Հնդկաստանի, Սինգապուրի և Չինաստանի հետ համագործակցությամբ։
