Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը հերքել է Գազայի հատվածում օգնության շարասյան հրթիռակոծությունը

Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի (IDF) խոսնակ Դանիել Հագարին, հետևելով հետաքննության արդյունքներին, ասել է, որ բանակը չի հարվածել պաղեստինցիների ամբոխին, որոնք հավաքվել էին հումանիտար օգնություն ստանալու համար․ նրանցից շատերը զոհվել կամ վիրավորվել են առաջացած ջարդի հետևանքով։
Պաղեստինյան լրատվամիջոցներն ավելի վաղ հայտնել էին, որ Իսրայելը փետրվարի 29-ին հարվածել է Գազայի արևմտյան Ար-Ռաշիդ փողոցին, որտեղ հարյուրավոր սովամահ պաղեստինցիներ հավաքվել էին մարդասիրական օգնություն ստանալու համար: Անկլավի առողջապահության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ առնվազն 112 մարդ զոհվել է, 760-ը՝ վիրավորվել իսրայելական հրետակոծությունների հետևանքով։
Ավելի ուշ Հագարին ճեպազրույցում ասել է, որ իսրայելցի զինվորները կրակ են բացել, երբ նրանց սպառնացել է ամբոխը, որը շարժվել է դեպի իրենց:
«Մեր նախնական ստուգումը հաստատեց, որ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը չի հարվածել մարդասիրական օգնության ավտոշարասյանը: Պաղեստինցիների մեծ մասը սպանվել կամ վիրավորվել է հրմշտոցի հետևանքով»,- Հագարիի հայտարարությունը հրապարակվել է IDF Telegram ալիքում։
Նրա խոսքով՝ հրմշտոցի սկսվելուց հետո իսրայելցի զինվորները մի քանի նախազգուշական կրակոց են արձակել, որից հետո մի քանի կողոպտիչներ շարժվել են դեպի իրենց՝ ստեղծելով անմիջական սպառնալիք։
Արդյունքում, Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի զինվորները պատասխան հարվածներ են հասցրել առանձին անձանց: Հագարին ասել է, որ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը պատրաստ է միջադեպի մանրակրկիտ հետաքննություն անցկացնել՝ ապագայում նմանատիպ ողբերգական միջադեպերի հավանականությունը նվազեցնելու համար:
