Երևանում այսօր կայացել է «Կայուն զարգացում և ESG. միջազգային օրակարգ, տեղական կարիքներ» խորագրով «Robust Armenia» կոնֆերանսը։
«Կայուն զարգացումը անկայուն միջավայրի պայմաններում» պանելային քննարկմանը մասնակցել են Կոնվերս և Յունիբանկ ընկերոթյունների ներկայացուցիչները, ինչպես նաև Զանգեզուրի պղնձամոլիբդենային կոմբինատի կայուն զարգացման տնօրենը և «Do Something» կազմակերպության հիմնադիր-տնօրեն, հասարակական գործիչ, բնապահպան Ջոն Դինը։
Հարց ու պատասխանի ընթացքում հարց հնչեց ուղղված կոնֆերանսի հյուրին՝ Ջոն Դինին, որ հանքարդյունաբերող ընկերության ներկայացուցչի և բնապահպանի կողք-կողքի մասնակցությունը և համատեղ քննարկումը Հայաստանի համար բացառիկ իրողություն և հարց հնչեց, թե ի՞նչ կարծիք ունի Ջոն Դին հանքարդյունաբերության ապագայի վերաբերյալ։
«Ավստրալիան ունի ահռելի հանքարդյունաբերության ոլորտ, կան բազմաթիվ հանքարդյունաբերող ընկերություններ, որոնք շատ բարձր մակարդակով պահպանում են ԲՍԿ չափանիշները։ Իհարկե, կան նաև վատ օրինակներ, բայց մենք պետք է հասկանանք, որ առանց հանքարդյունաբերության անհնար է «կանաչ» տեխնոլոգիաների առաջընթացը․ արևային պանելների, էլեկտրամեքենաշինության արտադրությունը և այլն»,- նշել է ավստրալացի բնապահպանը՝ հավելելով, որ Հայաստանը նույնպես կարող է դառնալ բարձր մակարդակի հանքարդյունաբերություն ունեցող երկիր, եթե պատշաճ ուշադրություն դարձվի բնապահպանական,սոցիալական կառավարչական չափանիշներին։
