 Պոլսահայ մտավորական Հրանտ Դինքի սպանության իրական պատճառները պետք է փնտրել նրա համարձակ ելույթներում, որտեղ նա դատապարտում էր Թուրքիայում մարդու իրավունքների, ազատ խոսքի սահմանափակումը, ժողովուրդների փոխըմբռնման բացակայությունը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ԵՊՀ պատմության ֆակուլտետի դեկան,պատմական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Էդիկ Մինասյանը:

«9 տարի առաջ կատարվեց մեծ ողբերգություն, որը Թուրքիայում կատակերգության է վերածվել: 9 տարի է անցել: Սպանվել է մի մարդ, որը նվիրվել է ժողովրդավարացման, մարդու իրավունքների, ազատ խոսքի, թուրքահայ համայնքի պաշտպանությանը: Դինքը նվիրյալ հայորդի էր, ով իր ուշադրությունը սևեռել էր պատմական արդարության վերականգնման խնդիրներին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` նշեց Էդիկ Մինասյանը:

ԵՊՀ պատմության ֆակուլտետի դեկանի խոսքով` Դինքի սպանությունն իրականացրել և դեպքից մի քանի օր անց ձերբակալվել է ազգայնական կազմակերպության անդամ 17-ամյա Օգյուն Սամաստը, որը մեղադրվել է հանցագործության մեջ:

«Դատավարությունը շարունակվեց 5 տարի՝ բազմաթիվ քննադատություններով, ձերբակալություններով, բայց այդպես էլ իսկական կազմակերպիչը չհայտնաբերվեց: Այսօր էլ գործընթացը շարունակվում է: Թուրքական մամուլում քննարկվում էր այն խնդիրը, թե որն էր սպանության պատճառը, տարբեր կարծիքներ կային: Ես կասկածում եմ, որ մինչև վերջ կբացահայտվի դեպքը, նոր ձերբակալությունները ժամանակ շահելու, հասարակության աչքին թոզ փչելու միջոց են: Այսօրվա Թուրքիան մարդու իրավուքնների ոտնահարման իր քայլերով ցույց է տալիս, որ բացահայտումներ չեն լինի, և կազմակերպիչները դատարանի առջև չեն կանգնի»,-շեշտեց Էդիկ Մինասյանը:

Գրող, լրագրող Հրանտ Դինքը ծնվել է 1954 թ. Մալաթիա քաղաքում: 7 տարեկան հասակում ծնողների հետ տեղափոխվել է Ստամբուլ, որտեղ սովորել է Պեզճյան վարժարանում, այնուհետև` Սուրբ Խաչ դպրեվանքում: 1978 թ. ավարտել է Ստամբուլի պետական համալսարանի կենսաբանության, 1987 թ.` փիլիսոփայության ֆակուլտետները: Զինվորական ծառայությունից հետո աշխատել է որպես լրագրող: 1996 թ. Ստամբուլում հիմնել է «Ակոս» թերթը` նպատակ ունենալով ներկայացնել թուրքահայության ծայրահեղ մեկուսացվածությունը, դառնալ նրա խոսափողն ու իրավունքների պաշտպանը, հաշտարար օղակ լինել հայ և թուրÖ „ ժողովուրդների միջև: Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցում հակադրվելով Թուրքիայի պաշտոնական տեսակետին՝ բազմիցս հալածվել է: Սպանվել է Թուրքիայի Ստամբուլ քաղաքում` թերթի խմբագրատան առաջ, թուրք ազգայնամոլի հրազենի գնդակից: Դինքի սպանությունը բողոքի մեծ ալիք առաջացրեց Թուրքիայում և արտերկրում: «Ես հայ եմ, ես Հրանտ Դինք եմ» կարգախոսով հազարավոր մարդիկ դուրս եկան փողոց` ի պաշտպանություն Դինքին:
