ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը մարտի 17-19-ը կայցելի Ադրբեջան, Վրաստան և Հայաստան։ Մարտի 17-ին Ստոլտենբերգը Բաքվում բանակցություններ կվարի նախագահ Ալիևի, պաշտպանության և արտաքին գործերի նախարարների հետ։ Վրաստանում նա հանդիպելու է նախագահ Սալոմե Զուրաբիշլիվիին և վարչապետ Իրաքլի Կոբախիձեին, իսկ մարտի 19-ին կլինի Երևանում, որտեղ հանդիպումներ կունենա նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանի և Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ։ ՆԱՏՕ-ի քարտուղարը նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ մամուլի համատեղ հայտարարությամբ է հանդես գալու։

Հատկապես Եվրախորհրդարանի բանաձևից հետո, երբ եվրոպական կառույցները հայտնել են իրենց պատրաստակամությունը աջակցելու Հայաստանի ԵՄ անդամակցության թեկնածուի կարգավիճակին, ՆԱՏՕ-ի այս ակտիվությունը լիովին տրամաբանական է։ Արևմուտքը մեր տարածաշրջանը գրոհում է ոչ միայն քաղաքական ու տնտեսական կառույցներով, այլ նաև իր հիմնական ռազմական կառույցով։

Իհարկե, ո՛չ Վրաստանը, որն ամենաշատն է առնչվել ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ, և ո՛չ էլ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը ՆԱՏՕ-ին առնվազն առաջիկայում անդամակցելու շանս չունեն։

Ավելին, մեր տարածաշրջանի երկրներին Արևմուտքը դիտարկում է միայն որպես պլացդարմ՝ Ռուսաստանի դեմ նոր ճակատ բացելու, Ռուսաստանին թուլացնելու առումով, ուստի առնվազն մեծ ախորժակ պետք չէ ունենալ ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի այցից։

Սա ընդամենը հերթական այցերից մեկն է, որ լիովին տեղավորվում է Հարավկովկասյան տարածաշրջանը ռուսներից ազատելու արևմտյան ծրագրերի հետ։ Ստոլտենբերգը խոստումների մի ամբողջ կույտ կարող է արձակել թե՛ Երևանում և թե՛ մյուս հարավկովկասյան մայրաքաղաքաներում, բայց առնվազն միամիտ պետք է լինել ՝ չհասկանալու համար, թե իրականում որն է Արևմուտքի և ՆԱՏՕ-ի նպատակը։
