«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ չեն բանակցում, նրան ուղղակի ասում են, թե ինչ պիտի անի»։ Այս մասին ասել է պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր, «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ Արշակ Կարապետյանը՝ մեկնաբանելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վերջին հայտարարությունները։ Նախկին նախարարը նշել է, թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պատերազմից հետո մշտապես ինչ-որ բան է պայմանավորվում ադրբեջանցիների հետ։ «Նախարարին զանգում ասում էին, թե պայմանավորվել են, սահմանին կրակոցներ չեն լինելու, երեկոյան դիպուկահարը խփում էր մեր զինվորին։ Հետևից հրաման էի ստանում՝ պատասխան չտալ»,- պատմել է Կարապետյանը՝ նշելով, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը վախկոտ անձնավորություն է, վախենում է անգամ համաներում հայտարարել։

Ըստ նախկին նախարարի, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ոչ մի հարց չի լուծել, սակայն մեղադրում է զինվորականներին։

Արշակ Կարապետյանը նկատում է, որ պատերազմի վտանգ կա, բայց Փաշինյանի գլխավորած իշխանությունները ստախոսությամբ են զբաղված, չեն պատրաստվում պատերազմի, ինչպես և չեն պատրաստվել պատերազմից հետո այս երեք ու կես տարիներին։ «Խոսում է բանակցությունների մասին, նա կարո՞ղ է Ալիևի հետ բանակցել։ Իջավ տիկտոկի մակարդակի։ Չեմ ճանաչում որևէ երկրի ղեկավար, որ տիկտոկի մակարդակի իջնի»,- նշել է Արշակ Կարապետյանը։

«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդը նշել է, թե գործող իշխանությունները պետք է ճամպրուկները կապեն և հեռանան։ Նախկին նախարարը նկատել է, թե Փաշինյանն իր աթոռից երբեք չի հրաժարվելու, այդ աթոռը միակ բանն է, որ նրան թույլ է տալիս առավոտյան հանգիստ սուրճ խմել իր տանը։ Ա. Կարապետյանը վստահ է, որ արտահերթ ընտրություններ Հայաստանում չեն լինելու: «Նիկոլին այլ ձևով են ճանապարհելու: Նա գիտի, եթե գնա արտահերթ ընտրությունների՝ ինքը չի հաղթելու, լավագույն դեպքում՝ կոալիցիոն կառավարություն է ստեղծվելու, որը չի կարողանալու կառավարել, այս վիճակում չի կարող կառավարել, ուր մնաց՝ կոալիցիոն կառավարության դեպքում»,- հայտարարել է Արշակ Կարապետյանը։

Նա նաև նշել է, թե ոչ ոք Հայաստանի հետ խաղաղության պայմանագիր չի ցանկանում ստորագրել, դա նույնիսկ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն է խոստովանում։ «Եկեք մեզ դնենք հակառակորդի տեղը։ Դուք ուզում եք գրավեք Հայաստանի ինչ-որ տարածք, բայց շանս ունեք, որ Հայաստանն այդ տարածքը կտա։ Ինչո՞ւ զոհեք ձեր զինվորներին: Հիմա մեր գյուղերը տալիս են։ Փաշինյանն ասում է, թե Ադրբեջանը զավթել է 31 գյուղ։ Ոչ մի գյուղ չի զիջում Ադրբեջանը, քանի որ մեր ղեկավարը չի կարողանում պաշտպանական համակարգ ստեղծել»,- նշել է Արշակ Կարապետյանը։

Հարցին, թե ինչ աշխատանք պետք է տարվի ժողովրդի հետ, որ պարտված ուժին իշխանության չբերի, Կարապետյանը պատասխանում է՝ մեր ժողովուրդն այս իշխանություններին չի ընտրել, երկու անգամ էլ հրաժարվել է նախկին իշխանություններից, իսկ այսօր, իրավիճակ է փոխվում։
