ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը չի բացառել, որ երկրի ղեկավար դառնալու դեպքում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արքայազն Հարրիին կարող են Միացյալ Նահանգներից արտաքսել, եթե պարզվի, որ թագավորական ընտանիքի անդամը կեղծել է վիզայի ձևաթղթում ներկայացված տեղեկությունը:
77-ամյա Թրամփն այս մասին ասել է Նայջել Ֆարաջին տված հարցազրույցում, որում նշել է, որ արքայազն Հարրին «հատուկ արտոնություններ» չի ստանա, եթե պարզվի, որ ստել է թմրանյութերի օգտագործման մասին:
Արքայազնն իր Spare ինքնակենսագրության մեջ նա խոստովանել էր, որ նախկինում թմրանյութեր է ընդունել, ինչը, ըստ ԱՄՆ օրենսդրության, սովորաբար հիմք է վիզայի դիմումը մերժելու համար:
Գրքում նա խոստովանել է, որ օգտագործել է կոկաին, կանեփ և հոգեմետ սնկեր:
Ֆարաջը Թրամփին հարցրել է, թե արդյոք արքայազն Հարրին պետք է օգտվի «հատուկ արտոնություններից», եթե պարզվի, որ նա չի ասել ճշմարտությունը:
«Մենք պետք է տեսնենք, թե արդյոք նրանք ինչ-որ բան գիտեն թմրամիջոցների մասին, և եթե նա ստել է, նրանք պետք է համապատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկեն», - պատասխանել է Թրամփը:
Արքայազն Հարրին, որն ԱՄՆ է տեղափոխվել 2020-ին, ապրում է Մոնտեսիտոյում կնոջ՝ Մեգան Մարքլի և երկու երեխաների՝ Արչիի և Լիլիբեթի հետ։
