Crocus City Hall համերգասրահում ահաբեկչություն իրականացրած հանցավոր խմբի առնվազն հինգ անդամ սլավոնական արտաքին են ունեցել։ Այս մասին հայտնում է «Կոմերսանտ» թերթը՝ հղում անելով ուժային կառույցների աղբյուրներին։

Նշվում է, որ ահաբեկիչները սլավոնական արտաքին ունեն և միջինից բարձր հասակ ունեն՝ առնվազն 180 սանտիմետր։ Ենթադրվում է, որ հարձակվողները կեղծ մորուքներ ու բեղեր են օգտագործել՝ քողարկվելու համար։

Հրապարակման որոշ աղբյուրներ պնդում են, որ հարձակվողները կարող են կապված լինել Ռուսական կամավորական կորպուսի հետ, որի զինյալները 2023 թվականի գարնանից Ուկրաինայի տարածքից գրոհում են Կուրսկի և Բելգորոդի մարզերի բնակավայրերի վրա։

Հանցագործները եղել են կամուֆլյաժով, մարտական ​​կոշիկներով, ինչպես նաև, ըստ երևույթին, ունեցել են ռազմական կամ օդային պատրաստություն: Նման ենթադրությունները հիմնված են ահաբեկիչների պահվածքի վրա՝ նրանք ոչ թե պատանդներ են վերցրել, այլ գնդակահարել են համերգասրահի յուրաքանչյուր հյուրի, ով հանդիպել է իրենց։
