«Ես դեռ հավատում եմ Լեւոնի հավակնություններին». Սմբատ Լպուտյան

Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի փոխնախագահ, գրոսմայստեր Սմբատ Լպուտյանը PAST-ի հետ զրույցում մեկնաբանելով հայկական շախմատի ներկայիս առաջատար Լեւոն Արոնյանի՝ վերջին շրջանում ցուցաբերած անկայուն խաղը, ասել է, որ շարունակում է Լեւոնից թագի հավակնություններ սպասել:
Անվանի գրոսմայստերը նշել է, որ վերջին տարիներին Արոնյանը շատ ավելի ազնիվ է իր ժամանակի հանդեպ, ավելի հոգատար, եւ փորձում է ավելի շատ ժամանակ տրամադրել շախմատին, ավելի ցանկալի լինել իր երկրպագուների առջեւ: Լեւոն Արոնյանը, ըստ Լպուտյանի, իրավիճակը պետք է ճիշտ գնահատի:
«Եթե ասենք, որ Լեւոնից այլեւս թագի հավակնություններ չենք սպասում, սխալ կլինի: Առաջիկայում հավակնորդների մրցաշարն է: Ես դեռ հավատում եմ, որ Լեւոնը կարող է դուրս գալ եզրափակիչ փուլ: Ինքն էլ է հավատում դրան, ինչը շատ կարեւոր է: Եթե դուրս գա եզրափակիչ փուլ, ապա ես հավատում եմ, որ նա կարող է անգամ չեմպիոն դառնալ: Մնացածը Աստծո ցանկությունն է:Սպորտում պետք է հաջողության գործոնն էլ լինի»,-ասել է Սմբատ Լպուտյանը:
Հավակնորդների մրաշարը տեղի կունենա 2016 թվականի մարտի 10-30-ը, Մոսկվայում:Մրցանակային ֆոնդը 450 հազար ամերիկյան դոլար է, իսկ մրցաշարի պաշտոնական հովանավորը դարձել է «Տաշիր» ընկերությունների խումբը: Աշխարհի 8 ուժեղագույն գրոսմայստերներ՝ կպայքարեն աշխարհի գործող չեմպիոն, նորվեգացի Մագնուս Կառլսենի հետ չեմպիոնական մենամարտի իրավունքի համար:
Հավակնորդներն են՝ Հիկարու Նակամուրան (ԱՄՆ), Ֆաբիանո Կարուանան (ԱՄՆ), Պյոտր Սվիդլերը (Ռուսաստան), Սերգեյ Կարյակինը (Ռուսաստան), Վիշվանաթան Անանդը (Հնդկաստան), Վեսելին Տոպալովը (Բուլղարիա), Անիշ Գիրին (Հոլանդիա) եւ, իհարկե, Լեւոն Արոնյանը: Նշենք, որ ՖԻԴԵ-ի վարկանիշային աղյուսակում Լեւոն Արոնյանն այս պահի դրությամբ չորրորդն է՝ 2792 միավորով: Նա զիջում է աշխարհի գործող չեմպիոն, նորվեգացի Մագնուս Կարլսենին (2844), ռուս Վլադիմիր Կրամնիկին (2801) եւ Անիշ Գիրիին (2798):
