В рамках 148-й Ассамблеи Межпарламентского союза делегация Национального собрания Республики Армения встретилась с делегацией, возглавляемой председателем комиссии по обороне, внутренним делам и внешним связям Федерального национального совета Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов, вице-президентм Межпарламентского союза доктором Али аль-Нуайми. 

Как передает «Арменпресс», со ссылкой на пресс-релиз НС, стороны обсудили вопросы армяно-эмиратского торгово-экономического сотрудничества, отметив беспрецедентный рост торговли между двумя странами в последние годы. 

Акоп Аршакян отметил, что ОАЭ являются первым торговым партнером Армении в регионе Ближнего Востока и Северной Африки, и сегодня инвестиции Эмиратов становятся все более заметными в экономике Армении. 

«Перспективными направлениями армяно-эмиратского сотрудничества могут стать сферы высокотехнологичной промышленности, здравоохранения, образования и науки, туризма, а также возможности сотрудничества в сфере логистики и взаимовыгодных инвестиционных проектов», - подчеркнул Акоп Аршакян. 

Али аль-Нуайми, со своей стороны, отметил, что после его визита в Армению в январе, ОАЭ выразили заинтересованность в расширении сотрудничества и взаимных визитах в рамках проектов Академического и Инженерного городков. 

Армянская делегация выразила поддержку любой инициативе, направленной на дальнейшее развитие и укрепление армяно-эмиратских политических, экономических и культурных отношений.
