Ընդդիմության նկատմամբ վերջին բռնաճնշումների ֆոնին հայտնի դարձավ, որ քրեական հետապնդում է հարուցվել ՀՅԴ ԳՄ ներկայացուցիչ,«Հայաստան» դաշինքի պատգամավոր Իշխան Սաղաթելյանի հոր՝ Վաչիկ Սաղաթելյանի, նկատմամբ։

Գործող իշխանությունները, ըստ երևույթին, ինչ-որ ֆորս-մաժորային իրավիճակներից վախենում են և ցանկանում են բռնաճնշումներով նեղել ընդդիմությանը։

Երկար տարիներ Հայաստանում իշխանությունները պարբերաբար քրեական գործեր են հարուցել իրենց ընդդիմախոսների նկատմամբ, երբեմն բռնաճնշումներ իրականացրել, բայց թերևս միայն փաշինյանական վարչախմբի օրոք է, որ հետապնդման են ենթարկվում ընդդիմադիր գործիչների ընտանիքների անդամները։

Փաշինյանին երևի թվում է, որ կոնկրետ մարդիկ այլևս չեն վախենում ձերբակալվելուց և կալանավորվելուց, պատրաստ են տարիներ անցկացնել բանտում, միայն թե չեն կոտրվելու և այժմ գործող վարչախումբն անցել է ամենաարգահատելի մեթոդին։

Մի մեթոդ, որը երբեք ընդունված չի եղել հայ իրականության մեջ. նեղել, քրեական վարույթներ հարուցել, կալանավորել ընդդիմադիր գործիչների ընտանիքների անդամներին։ Քրեական այս վարույթները ի վերջո փլուզվում են դատարաններում, շատերն արդարացվում և դուրս են գալիս, կամ էլ որոշ անկախ, կամ կիսանկախ դատավորներ չեն կալանավորում մարդկանց, իսկ արդյունքում իշխանությունը հերթական անգամ ապացուցում է իր բարոյազուրկ լինելու փաստը։
