Այսօր մենք Ռուսաստանի հետ նույն լեզվով չենք խոսում. այն խնդիրները, որոնք կան Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերություններում, անհնար է թաքցնել։ Այս մասին արգենտինյան Todos Noticias հեռուստատեսության եթերում ասել է ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը:
Լրագրողը նկատել է, որ վերջին տարիներին թվում է, թե Հայաստանը շրջադարձ է կատարել դեպի Արևմուտք, ապա նա հետաքրքրվել է՝ արդյոք Հայաստանի չի՞ վախենում դաշնակից համարվող Ռուսաստանի պատասխանից:
«Մենք ժողովրդավարական երկիր ենք և ցանկանում ենք ամրապնդել ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտները։ Մենք տեսնում ենք, որ, օրինակ, Միացյալ Նահանգները և Եվրամիությունը (ԵՄ) հիմնական գործընկերներն են։ Մենք նաև տեսանք, որ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ էր քաղաքացիական առաքելություն ուղարկել, և սահմանին իրավիճակը զգալիորեն բարելավվեց: Նրանց ներկայությունը մեծապես նպաստում է տարածաշրջանի և Հայաստանի մի մասի խաղաղությանը։ Ռուսաստանը խաղաղապահներ էր ուղարկել 2020 թվականին՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում անվտանգության վերահսկման համար, սակայն մենք ականատես եղանք բազմաթիվ հարձակումների Հայաստանի սահմանի վրա: Չենք կարող ասել, որ գոհացուցիչ արձագանք ենք ստացել մեր դաշնակիցներից։ Այսպիսով, անվտանգության այն մեխանիզմները, որոնք մենք ունեինք մի քանի տասնամյակ շարունակ, չաշխատեցին։ Այդ իսկ պատճառով մենք խնդրեցինք, որ Եվրամիությունը գա ու մշտադիտարկի իրավիճակը։ Այժմ մենք խորացնում ենք տնտեսական և քաղաքական հարաբերությունները Բրյուսելի և Վաշինգտոնի հետ։ Ես դա շրջադարձ չէի անվանի, մենք փորձում ենք ապահովել մեր անվտանգությունն ու զարգացումը ժողովրդավարական ճանապարհով և ինստիտուտներով, և դրա համար տեսնում ենք, որ լավ գործընկերներ կան Արևմուտքում»։
Խոսելով այս համատեքստում Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների վիճակի մասին՝ Միրզոյանը նկատել է, որ Երևանն ու Մոսկվան ունեն տնտեսական հարաբերություններ, երկկողմ առևտուր, համագործակցության տարբեր ոլորտներ և լավ կապեր անվտանգության առումով։
«Բայց ճիշտ է նաև, որ այսօր մենք նույն մտքերը չունենք և, պարզ ասած, նույն լեզվով չենք խոսում։ Այն խնդիրները, որոնք կան Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերություններում, անհնար է թաքցնել», - ասել է դիվանագետը։
Անդրադառնալով Ռուսաստանի հետ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների խզման հավանականության մասին՝ ԱԳ նախարարն ասել է.«Ես չեմ կարող կանխատեսել ապագան, բայց գիտեմ, որ Հայաստանն արդար ակնկալիքներ ունի, որպեսզի երկու երկրի կողմից ստանձնած տարածքային ամբողջականությանն ուղղված հանձնառությունն արտացոլվի գրավոր փաստաթղթում։ Մեր ակնկալիքն այն է, որ Հայաստանի ու Ռուսաստանի այդ պարտավորությունները կատարվեն»։
