ԱՄՆ-ն զգուշացնում և զգուշացնելու է չխստացնել հռետարաբանությունը և նախկինի պես հանդես է գալիս արդար ու արժանապատիվ խաղաղության համար պայմաններ ստեղծելու օգտին։ 

Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարության խոսնակ Մեթյու Միլլերը ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ՝ մեկնաբանելով հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին տիրող իրավիճակի մասին հաղորդագրությունները։

Լրագրողներից մեկը հարց ուղղելով Պետդեպի ներկայացուցչին, նշել է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմն առաջ է մղում հայկական կողմի՝ սահմանին իրավիճակը սրելու փորձի վարկածը` հայտարարելով զորքերի տեղաշարժերի մասին, մինչդեռ Հայաստանում ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելությունը չի հաստատել այս տվյալները՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում հանգիստ է:

Միլլերը նշել է, որ Վաշինգտոնում ծանոթացել են ադրբեջանական կողմի հայտարարությանը։

«Կցանկանայի նշել, որ երեկ ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելությունը հայտարարեց, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին հանգիստ է եղել՝ առանց զորքերի կամ հրետանու որևէ արտառոց տեղաշարժի՝ չնայած այդ հայտարարություններին։ Մենք զգուշացնում ենք և կշարունակենք զգուշացնել զերծ մնալ հռետորաբանության սրացումից կամ սահմանի երկայնքով ռազմական գործողություններից: Մենք շարունակում ենք խրախուսել արդար և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության պայմանների ստեղծումը տարածաշրջանում, որտեղ հարգվում են բոլորի իրավունքները», - հայտարարել Է ամերիկացի դիվանագետը։

Հավելենք, որ վերջին օրերին Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ-ն երկու անգամ հայտարարել է, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի տարբեր ուղղություններում նկատվում է ՀՀ ԶՈւ կենդանի ուժի և զինտեխնիկայի կենտրոնացում: Հայաստանի պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունը հերքել է այդ պնդումները։ ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելությունը պաշտոնապես հայտարարել է, որ սահմանին իրադրության դիտարկման ընթացքում ոչ մի արտառոց տեղաշարժ չի հայտնաբերվել:

Քիչ առաջ էլ ՀՀ ՊՆ-ն հաղորդագրություն տարածեց՝ հայտնելով, որ Ադրբեջանի ԶՈւ ստորաբաժանումներն են ապրիլի 1-ին՝ ժամը 22:00-ին, Կութի (Գեղարքունիքի մարզ), ապրիլի 2-ին՝ ժամը 00:40-ին, Տեղի (Սյունիքի մարզ) հատվածում կրակ են բացել հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ:
