Умер самый старый мужчина в мире

Житель Венесуэлы, самый старый мужчина в мире Хуан Висенте Перес Мора умер на 115-м году жизни. Об этом сообщил президент страны Николас Мадуро.
«Хуан Висенте Перес Мора, внесенный в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самый старый мужчина в мире, умер в возрасте 114 лет. Я обнимаю его семью и выражаю соболезнования всем жителям города Эль-Кобре, [в котором родился долгожитель] », - написал Мадуро в X.
По данным газеты El Nacional, Перес Мора умер в возрасте 114 лет и 339 дней незадолго до своего 115-летия из-за респираторных осложнений. 4 февраля 2022 года он был внесен в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самый старый мужчина в мире в возрасте 112 лет и 253 дней, обогнав испанца Сатурнино де ла Фуэнте Гарсию, умершего в возрасте 112 лет. Перес Мора объяснял свое долголетие «постоянной работой, полноценным отдыхом, ранним сном и ежедневным употреблением стакана бренди». При этом газета отмечает, что долгожитель хорошо питался, молился, пил воду и рано ложился спать.
Перес Мора родился 27 мая 1909 года в городе Эль-Кобре в Венесуэле и был 9-м из 10 детей. У самого долгожителя 11 детей. Как указывает газета, в последнее время Перес Мора проживал в доме на ферме в Сан-Хосе-де-Боливаре.
