ԱՄՆ միջազգային զարգացման գործակալությունը նախատեսում է մոտ 8,5 միլիոն դոլար հատկացնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված անձանց և փախստականների բնակարանային կարիքների, հոգեսոցիալական աջակցության բավարարման համար։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ այս մասին հայտարարեց ԱՄՆ Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության (USAID) Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի գրասենյակի ադմինիստրատորի օգնական Էրին ՄըքՔին։
«Մենք հավաքվել ենք այստեղ վերահաստատելու ժողովրդավարական և բարգավաճ Հայաստանին աջակցելու մեր ջանքերը և մեր շարունակական աջակցությունը Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարությանը, տնտեսական կայունությանը, ինքնիշխանությանը և տարածքային ամբողջականությանը: ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարն այսօր առավոտյան հայտարարեց ժողովրդավարության, էներգետիկ անկախության, պարենային անվտանգության և տնտեսական ինտեգրման խթանման համար ավելի քան 65 միլիոն դոլարի նոր և նշանակալի աջակցության մասին: Ուրախ ենք շարունակել համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի կառավարության հետ՝ ամրապնդելու համար այդքան դժվարությամբ ձեռք բերված հաջողությունները»,- ընդգծեց ՄըքՔին։
Նրա խոսքով՝ 2023 թվականի աշնանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձություններից հետո ԱՄՆ միջազգային զարգացման գործակալությունը նախատեսում է մոտ 8,5 միլիոն դոլար հատկացնել տեղահանված անձանց և փախստականների բնակարանային կարիքների, հոգեսոցիալական աջակցության բավարարման համար:
«Այս ֆինանսավորման շնորհիվ ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ-ն կհամագործակցի ազգային և տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների, ինչպես նաև հասարակական կազմակերպությունների հետ՝ կոնկրետ ցույց տալու Հայաստանի ժողովրդին, որ իրենց ժողովրդավարությունը տալիս է իր պտուղները: Իսկ ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ-ն կհոգա, որ կարիքավորներն ունենան հանրային ծառայությունների հասանելիություն՝ օգնելով Հայաստանի կառավարությանը տեղեկատվություն տարածել այդ հնարավորությունների մասին»,- ասաց նա։
