Սահմանին կրակոցների մասին ցանկացած հաղորդագրություն անհանգստացնող է։

«Ազատության» հետ զրույցում հայտարարեց Հարավային Կովկասի հարցերով Եվրամիության հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարը՝ անդրադառնալով բրյուսելյան հանդիպման ֆոնին սահմանային լարվածությանը:

Արդյո՞ք հրադադարի խախտումները Բաքվի պատասխանն են Հայաստան-ԵՄ խորացող հարաբերությունների, Կլաարը չգիտի, սակայն նշում է՝ ԵՄ-ն ուզում է տեսնել իրական, բովանդակային բանակցություններ, որոնք կհանգեցնեն խաղաղության պայմանագրին, սահմանազատման վերաբերյալ պայմանավորվածություններին, հաղորդակցությունների բացմանը։

«Սրա վրա պետք է կենտրոնացնել ուշադրությունը», - ասաց ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչը՝ շեշտելով՝ պետք է վերադառնալ առարկայական բանակցային գործընթացին։

Դիտարկմանը, թե արդեն կես տարի է՝ պաշտոնյաները խոսում են շուտով խաղաղության պայմանագրի հնարավոր ստորագրման մասին և հարցին, թե ինչո՞ւ չի ստացվում հասնել խաղաղ համաձայնության, ԵՄ ներկայացուցիչը պատասխանեց․

«Մի քանի պատճառ կարող է լինել, բայց դատելով իմ տիրապետած տեղեկությունից, թե որտեղ է գործընթացը տարբեր ուղղություններով, ես նույնպես կարծում եմ, որ իրականում դա այդքան երկար չպետք է տևի դրական արդյունքի հասնելու համար, եթե կա քաղաքական կամք, եթե կա հանձնառություն։

Եվ մենք ուզում ենք այդ ուղղությամբ աշխատել Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի հետ միասին, որպեսզի հասնենք դրական արդյունքի։ Որովհետև ես, ինչպես ասացի, կարծում եմ, որ այդքան երկար դա չպետք է տևի, եթե երկու կողմից էլ կա քաղաքական հանձնառություն»։
