Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը ցավակցել է Մեղրիում վթարի հետևանքով զոհված զինծառայողների ընտանիքներին․
«Խոր ցավով տեղեկացանք Մեղրիում ավտովթարի հետևանքով զոհված 4 զինծառայողների և 20 վիրավորների մասին։
Մեր վշտակցությունն ենք բերում զոհվածների ընտանիքներին՝ հայցելով Սուրբ Հոգու մխիթարությունը նրանց վշտացյալ սրտերին։ Աղոթում ենք առ Ողորմածն Աստված, որ Իր անբավ գթությամբ երկնային լուսեղեն օթևաններում խաղաղության ու հանգստության մեջ ընդունի նրանց հոգիները։
Շուտափույթ ապաքինում ենք մաղթում վիրավորներ մեր զավակներին՝ հայցելով Տիրոջ Սուրբ Աջի հովանին և զորակցությունը Հայոց բանակին, մեր հայրենիքին և մեր ողջ ժողովրդին։

Հիշեցնենք, որ ապրիլի 12-ին՝ ժամը 15:25-ի սահմաններում, ՀՀ ՊՆ N զորամասի զինծառայողներին տեղափոխող «Ուրալ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենան դեռևս չպարզված հանգամանքներում դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթևեկելի հատվածից և հայտնվել հարակից ձորակի տարածքում: Կա 4 զոհ, 20 վիրավոր։
Վթարը տեղի է ունեցել Սյունիքի մարզում, Մեղրիի տարածաշրջանի Նռնաձորի ճանապարհին։ Զինծառայողները Մեղրիի հիվանդանոցում են։
Վթարի հետևանքով մահացած զինծառայողներն են Արեգ Արմենի Քերոբյանը, Սլավիկ Վարդանի Վարդանյանը, Դավիթ Համբարձումի Հակոբյանը և Ժոզեֆ Մելքոնի Ազոլյանը։
