В предварительном списке Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО может появиться еще один армянский памятник

Подготовлена заявка на включение камней-драконов на горе Тиринкатар в предварительный список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Решение относительно этих камней будет принято летом. 

Как передает «Арменпресс», об этом при обсуждении вопроса «Препятствия и возможности сохранения памятников истории и культуры Армении и Арцаха» сообщил начальник Управления охраны памятников истории и культуры Министерства ОНКС РА Арутюн Ванян. 

«В Армении зарегистрировано около 24 000 памятников. Если к ним добавить и недавно обнаруженные памятники, то получится около 25 000. В списке Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО зарегистрировано 3  армянских памятника культуры: монастырский комплекс Санаин и Ахпат, монастырь Гегард с долиной реки Азат и Эчмиадзин с его церквями и древним городищем Звартноц. В предварительные списки включены еще 4 памятника: древнее поселение Двин, Нораванк и долина Амагу, храм Ереруйк, монастырский комплекс Татев и Татевская пустынь», - сказал Ванян. 

Все эти регистрации были сделаны в 1998-2000 годах. Одно из правил ЮНЕСКО заключается в том, что пока памятник не включён в предварительный список, его нельзя переместить в основной список, это первый шаг. Предварительные списки не обновлялись после 1995 года. Через 28 лет этот список может пополниться новым наименованием. 

«С прошлого года мы начали новый процесс для продолжения этой работы. Подготовлена ​​заявка на включение камней-драконов на горе Тиринкатар в предварительный список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО как уникального культурного феномена, характерного для Армянского нагорья, которого больше нигде нет. Решение о включении или не включении в предварительный список будет принято этим летом», - сообщил представитель министерства.
