24 апреля в Санкт-Петербурге состоится концерт, посвященный Дню памяти жертв Геноцида армян в Османской империи

24 апреля – это памятный день в России, установленный Государственной Думой в 1995 году как День памяти жертв Геноцида армян в Османской империи.
24 апреля в «Доме Кино» Санкт-Петербурга состоится концерт шедевров советской и российской киномузыки «Мелодии наших сердец» авторства знаменитых армянских композиторов. В исполнении симфонического оркестра Санкт-Петербургской Государственной консерватории им. Н.А. Римского-Корсакова под управлением ректора Консерватории Алексея Васильева и солистов оперных театров Санкт-Петербурга прозвучат всем известные произведения, авторами которых являются потомки армян, выживших после Геноцида.
В концерте прозвучат пронзительные композиции Комитаса, Шарля Азнавура, Микаэла Таривердиева, любимые всеми мелодии Арама Хачатуряна, жизнеутверждающая музыка Арно Бабаджаняна, щемящие саундтреки Надежды Симонян, ставшие символом эпохи мелодии Евгения Геворкяна и мелодии из кинофильмов Андрея Геворгяна. Концерт приурочен именно к этой важной дате и символизирует несгибаемую силу духа и таланта армянского народа.
