ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարարը ԱՄՆ դեսպանի հետ քննարկել է կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի հարցեր

 Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արդարադատության նախարար Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը հունվարի 20-ին ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսին, ԱՄՆ արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի հակակոռուպցիոն հարցերով ավագ խորհրդական  Փիթեր Այզենվորթին:           Հանդիպման նպատակը կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին առնչվող հարցերի քննարկումն էր:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը տեղեկացրել է, որ Արդարադատության նախարարությունը կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին ուղղված մի շարք կարևոր քայլեր արդեն ձեռնարկել է, բայց դեռևս բավական աշխատանք կա կատարելու: Դրա իրականացման հարցում նա կարևորել է միջազգային գործընկերների աջակցությունը:

ԱՄՆ դեսպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել նախարարին ընդունելության համար և հայտնել ԱՄՆ կառավարության գոհունակությունը՝ կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի հարցում նախարար Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանի հետ աշխատելու համար: Ռիչարդ Միլսը, ներկայացնելով հանդիպմանը մասնակցող ԱՄՆ արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի Հակակոռուպցիոն հարցերով ավագ խորհրդական  Փիթեր Այզենվորթին, նշել է, որ նա Հայաստան է ժամանել համատեղ ջանքերի արդյունքում՝ դեսպանության հրավերով՝ նախարարին հանդիպելու և ՀՀ կառավարության հակակոռուպցիոն ջանքերին աջակցելու նպատակով:

Խոսելով հակակոռուպցիոն քաղաքականության արդյունավետ իրականացման մասին՝ կողմերը կարևորել են քաղաքացիական հասարակության ու ԶԼՄ-ների դերը՝ կոռուպցիոն երևույթների մասին բարձրաձայնելու և անաչառ տեղեկատվություն տրամադրելու հարցում:    

ԱՄՆ արդարադատության դեպարտամենտի Հակակոռուպցիոն հարցերով ավագ խորհրդական Փիթեր Այզենվորթը Արդարադատության նախարարության հետ սերտ համագործակցելու և իր փորձն ու գիտելիքը հայ գործընկերների հետ կիսելու  պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել:
