Ճապոնիան փորձում է կոտրել չինական գերակայությունն արևային մարտկոցների և վահանակների շուկայում։

Չինական ընկերությունները վերահսկում են սիլիկոնային արևային մարտկոցների մատակարարման ավելի քան 80 %-ը։ Միջազգային էներգետիկ գործակալության տվյալներով՝ Ճապոնիան լրջագույն մտահոգություններ ունի իր բիզնեսի կորուստների կապակցությամբ, բայց կարծում են, որ ինժեներական և գիտական ներուժի առումով կարող են գերազանցել Չինաստանին։

Ճապոնիայում արդեն սկսել են բարակ թաղանթով պերովսկիտ արևային մարտկոցների օգտագործումը։

Ավելի քան 400 միլիոն դոլար Տոկիոն հատկացրել է տարբեր տեղական ընկերությունների՝ խրախուսելու պերովսկիտային տարրերի զանգվածային արտադրությունը։

Պերովսկիտով արևային մարտկոցները, որոնք միայն վերջին 10 տարում են ներդրվել, խոստանում են 25 % արդյունավետություն և առավել շահավետ արտադրություն, դրանք կարող են կիրառվել ցանկացած մակերեսի վրա և ընդամենն ունեն 1 մկմ հաստություն, ինչը համեմատելի է լուսանկարչական ֆիլմի հետ, բայց ավելի ճկուն է, ընդ որում, ճապոնական իշխանություններն արգելել են պերովսկիտի հումքի մատակարարումը Չինաստանից։

Ներկայումս ճապոնացի գիտնականներն աշխատում են հերմետիկ նյութի վրա, որը կապահովի արևային նոր վահանակների ամրությունը։ Ճապոնիայի վարչապետը խոստացել է 2 տարվա ընթացքում տեխնոլոգիան կոմերցիոն առումով կենսունակ դարձնել։
